The Big Consortium

When Colin Evans walked into my office and saw my panda eyes, he paused but didn't comment. He sat down across my desk and handed me some documents. "The Eternal Properties project starts next week! All materials are ready; here's their directive approving our material choices. Everything is on track!"

Luna came in and handed me a report; I asked her for a cup of coffee.

Unexpectedly, Fiona's call came through. I could guess why she was calling—the lucrative 50,000 square meter project had fallen into my hands, and she wouldn't be pleased. I smirked and didn't answer.

She then sent a message full of insults, which I promptly ignored by blocking her. She was just a nuisance, and I didn't need to bother myself with her, especially since I had already secured the benefits.

I had thought about using her to find out more about what was going on, but I just wasn't in the mood to deal with her right now.
