Delivered to the Door

My attitude was somewhat arrogant, and my tone was quite stern.

The first time they came, I was a bit nervous, but now, I wasn't just not nervous—I was also full of resentment. Their attitude, their looks, and their tone all irritated me.

"Officers, I'm very curious. What exactly are you investigating? Even as a non-professional, I know you've missed some crucial questions. I don't know if you deliberately avoided them or if you already know the answers and don't need to ask."

I paused, my gaze filled with skepticism, then asked, "Why haven't you asked me what IAN wanted to tell me?"

After asking, I stared at the officer's face, observing his reaction.

Sure enough, he was at a loss for words.

The other officer awkwardly said, "That's exactly what we're here to ask you now."
