THEY WERE A PERFECT FAMILY

Soon afterwards Isabelle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, their daughter, they named her Robinette, but Isabelle would like to call her Robyn for short, like her favorite song bird. Damian agreed to it, the name reminded him of the woods when he would hear the birds chirping in the morning.

While Damian worked to provide for his family, Isabelle took care of their daughter and managed the house. Like any loving mother she raised Robyn with love and took very good care of her. She dressed her, groomed her, fed her, watched her grow. When she was old enough to speak and hold a quill pen, Isabelle schooled her, from an early age she taught her how to read and write, some arithmetic, and she taught her different languages like Latin, Greek, Spanish, Italian and French as well. Robyn was well educated by her mother, Isabelle's father was a great teacher to her. Damian was also impressed by Robyn's education and his wife's intelligence, that's why he loves her, so free spirited at mind and heart.

Damian would bring home a bountiful feast for his family. He brought the freshest meats like deer, rabbits, and a wild boar, cooked and served at the table. And the fruits and vegetables he bought were not only fresh but also delicious and healthy, the apples, cherries, plums, pears were nature's sweetness, and the onions, cabbages, carrots, potatoes were the strengths from the earth. The drinks were mostly ale for the parents and water for Robyn. And finally the sugary desserts were pudding, tarts and custard made by real expensive sugar bought from Damian, since he did worked onboard a voyaging ship, he was able to afford it. They said Grace, meaning they thanked God for blessing them with good food to eat. They ate their meals together at one table, Damian told stories about his exciting hunting works, Isabelle informed Damian of Robyn's education and how well she's learned, now Robyn she just loves to tell tall tales like mermaids, dragons, fairies, witches who cast spells etc. Everyone smiled and laughed together.

For family bonding time, when Damian wasn't at work, they would entertain themselves, spend time together, and count their blessings. They would sing songs, play music together with their instruments. Damian would play the tambourine, since he doesn't have much of a musical talent, Isabelle would play the recorder, and not just that she can play different kinds of instruments like the lyre, the vielle, citole, harp, virginal, and the lute, but right now Robyn's the one playing the lute, taught by her mother of course, she played it well. They would form a circle and danced the Morris dance together.

Isabelle and Robyn would spend their mother-daughter time dancing ballet together, Isabelle would teach her the five basic ballet positions: First position, Second position, Third position, Fourth position, and Fifth position, like: Demi plie, Grand plie, eleve, releve, saute, tendu, pirouette etc. At first Robyn wasn't interested in ballet, she wasn't fond of being poise, she's more of a wild- rebellious- adventurous- young lady. But when she tried the ballet techniques, she felt empowered, when she pirouette she felt the wind carrying her of the ground, when she grand plie she felt her muscles so strong and heavy yet she felt light on her feet, when she saute she felt like she was walking or to say jumping on water without splashing, when she glissade she felt like she was holding fire waving its bright light on her gentle candle like hands. When Robyn danced ballet it felt like magic, Isabelle watched her daughter performed the ballet, she was very proud of her, they both danced ballet together happily and gracefully, just like a mother and a daughter would do.

Still like any mother would do, she had to teach her daughter proper etiquette lessons on how to behave like a proper young lady, like:

1) It Starts in the Heart: Etiquette begins with a kind and gentle heart that shines outward!

2) Adult, Peers and Youngsters: Different behaviors and expectations with different groups.

3) Conversing with adults.

4) Table manners

5) Posture: Walking and Sitting Like a Lady

6) Modesty and Dressing Appropriately

7) Serving Tea

And more.

Robyn learned these lessons well, but she didn't enjoyed them much. Like all children she was adventurous, rebellious, mischievous, free- spirited and playful, she much rather prefer to go out into the meadow to play, run around, roll over the soft green grass, pick colorful flowers to give to her mother and father for the dinner table, soak her feet in the cold brook, dance under the sunlight and sing songs, mess around like all children do.

Alas she has to learn these things, and help her mother around the house, she has to do her chores, she has to sweep the floors, dust around, do the dishes, polish the fine china, wash and mend the clothes to fold and put it away, weed the garden, grow crops, help her mother with the baking, they would often bake bread and cakes themselves, all they need are the simplest ingredients like: sugar, if they can afford to buy it, or honey instead, flour, milk, and a small pinch of salt. Damian would work his best to afford the best ingredients for his beautiful wife and daughter, and in return they would bake him the best cake.

At night, Damian and Isabelle would tell Robyn stories before tucking her to bed. Well it was mostly Isabelle who told the best stories than her husband, his stories are mostly about his real life exciting voyaging trips and hunting on land, which Robyn does thought it's excitingly interesting, but she likes her mother's Greek mythological stories better, what with all the Gods and Goddesses, Demigods, Heroes, Monsters and Titans, even though they are fictional she finds them very inspiring and amusing. "Now tell me about Harmonia and her mother and father, Hercules and Megara" Robyn said excitedly.

"Again?" said Damian, amused at her childish wishes.

"Again, again" Robyn replied with enthusiasm. "I'd love to hear about Harmonia's epic triumphs, since her childhood hardships. Please tell me mother."

And so Isabelle told her the mythical tale of Harmonia's humble beginning:

Long ago in Greek Mythology

Written by Homer the famous poet in Ancient Greece history

There was a strong demigod named Hercules who married a beautiful Theban princess

King Creon's daughter, Megara, with a gorgeous purple dress

The King of Thebes wed them

And their loving marriage led them to a beautiful daughter, Harmonia

But alas the loving family's happiness came to an end

When Hera cursed Hercules with madness

Her cursed made him do the unthinkable to his wife and daughter

Much to her gladness

But Harmonia survived his cursed slaughter

She used hellebore to cure her cursed father

Much to his horror he realized what he has done

He killed his own wife, now she is gone

Ashamed, Hercules fled to the Oracle of Delphi to tell him what he must do

And so they told him to serve King Eurystheus and achieve the twelve labors for the Gods favors

His attempts must be bold and true

The quest could cost him his life, knowing he would die

He bid his daughter goodbye

"And so the pitiful hero left his daughter in the care of her mortal grandmother, Alcmene, in the palace of Thebes, and said their tearful goodbye" Isabelle concluded the story.

"Why?" Robyn asked, sadly.

"Because Hercules died too, and together with his wife, Megara, their souls blossomed from life into immortality, living together on Mount Olympus, watching over their daughter from above" Isabelle explained.

"And one day she too will die, blossom from life into immortality and join her parents on Mount Olympus" Robyn added, emotionally.

Longing, mourning for their precious daughter, they befell into depression

Now they wait for her, hoping she would be brought up into the heavens

(Robyn)

So they can all be together

(Damian and Isabelle)

Forever

Isabelle and Damian looked at each other, romantically. Robyn just looked at them giggling, thinking they might kiss. But first they had to kiss her goodnight, and so they did, those stories really put her to sleep. And when they went to their bed, lets just say they had a romantic night.

Yes, life was sweet for the perfect family. They would often go to the meadow and have picnic there, they play around in the sun, enjoying life, and living their happiest of lives together. They were a Happy Family.

But unfortunately dark clouds had shrouded the clear skies and ray of sunshine happiness, for Henry VIII, the King of England, had befell into madness, for he accused his own wife of treason, plotting to kill the king. And he also accused her of witchcraft, that's how she seduces other men to do her bidding. Despite Anne's protest, Henry VIII had his wife beheaded by a French swordsman, her corpse was buried in the Chapel Royal of St Peter ad Vincula at the Tower of London.

But that's not the reason why she was executed. Anne was unable to give birth to a male heir, which Henry VIII wanted so badly, instead she gave birth to a girl, Elizabeth I. Elizabeth was only two years old when her mother was executed for treason. Anne Boleyn's fate meant that the little girl was no longer a princess, she was declared illegitimate and kept out of the way, living with a small entourage at the the royal manor of Hatfield in Hertfordshire. A year later after her death, Henry married Jane Seymour, his third wife.
