Not an ordinary man

Oframasi police station, interrogation room

.....

Inside the dimly lit room, Mr. Joe sat unmoving as he reminisced about the recent events that had occurred around him. Different kinds of emotion could be seen in his expression as he struggled to accept reality.

Suddenly, the door to the room was pushed open as three men made their way into the interrogation room.

Being brought back to reality by the disturbance, Mr. Joe turned to the source of the noise only to discover three young men standing before the door.

"Hmph! So you're the one? I can't see anything special about you. However, I must commend you on your courage." Sergeant Robert squinted his eyes after having a clearer view of the 'supposed assassin.'

As a police officer, he has had his fair share of coming in contact with a lot of criminals with some being famous and notorious. One thing they all had in common was their terrifying presence and murderous aura.

However, the man before him doesn't seem to possess any of the traits. Hence, he couldn't understand where he got the courage to try an assassinating attempt on a police sergeant.

"What is a gangster doing in here? Tell me, who sent you?" Mr. Joe smirked. He wasn't irritated by Sergeant Robert's earlier words. Nevertheless, he wondered how this moron had gotten inside.

_He doesn't seem to be affected. He's too calm. What's he hiding?_ Inspector standing just an inch from the door thought as he watched on.

"Bang! What gangster? Look carefully. I am a police officer!" Sergeant Robert couldn't control his anger anymore as he struck the table before him.

He just couldn't bear it anymore. Everybody that he had met looked down on him. First, it was his junior then it came down to a demoted sergeant living in a backward village and now it is a criminal waiting for a trial.

_A sergeant?_ Mr. Joe was momentarily when his eyes caught sight of the young man's identification.

_How could there be two sergeants in this little village?_ He thought.

The ranking system within the police force was in some way comparable to how their organization also does their ranking system. Both were seemingly difficult to rank up.

Hence, he was confused as to the reason a backward village like this would possess two sergeants. Not even the various towns could boast of this. It is only possible within the various cities.

"It's enough." Inspector Kodua calmly said as he approached Sergeant Robert.

Before coming, he had told Sergeant Quaye to stir trouble when they arrived at the interrogation room as he wanted to see what kind of person the assassin was.

Even though he abhors Sergeant Robert's actions, he must admit it's quite useful sometimes.

Moving his eyes to the origin of the shout, It was only at this moment that Mr. Joe remembered there were two more people inside the room.

"Tap! Tap! Tap!" Walking step by step, Inspector Kodua unhurriedly made his way to the center of the room.

"Let's settle down first." Inspector Kodua gestured as he pulled a chair.

_Who is he?_ He is not an ordinary man. Mr. Joe was surprised at the sight of Inspector Kodua.
