Bring Your Guardians

Mr Tony ran as fast as his legs could get him back to his office to get the documents for Davis to sign with a pen.

" Why are you so shocked? Did you see a ghost here or what?" Davis mocked with the same energy Nina used in mocking him just a while ago.

Thinking of what to do, Nina left her receptionist seat and walked closer to Davis before unbuttoning her shirt so as to seduce Davis who already saw through her.

" Please forgive me, I didn't know that you're a billionaire" Nina fell on her knees and bent so that Davis could get a better view of her exposed boobs, but little did she know that Davis was irritated by her attitude.

" Get away from me bitch!" He pushed her from his front angrily.

" Please forgive me, I don't want to lose my job" Nina begged with tears in her eyes when she saw that her plans of seducing Davis fell through.

" You're already fired because once I take over, I will replace you with a respectful and polite receptionist" Davis said and more tears poured from Nina's eyes. At that moment, she regretted her actions and wished to turn back the hands of time so she could rectify all her wrong doings, but it was already too late.

" If I were you, I will just take my leave since you've already been fired," Davis said with coldness in his voice and his eyes weren't pleasant at that moment.

Soon after Nina left, Mr Tony came running with all the necessary documents so that Davis could sign and he did without thinking twice.

" Thank you for buying my hotel, it now belongs to you and you alone" Mr Tony smiled and bowed his head for Davis.

" Please lock the hotel for me, I will love to renovate it and start all over again" Davi was and Mr Tony's eyes widened.

" Renovate it? Isn't it beautiful like this? This is a five star hotel which everyone in Brooklyn admires" Mr Tony said and Davis chuckled.

" Your choice isn't mine and I want to make this hotel the best in the world. Is that bad?" Davis asked and Mr Tony shook his head immediately.

" It's none of my business anymore since the hotel is now yours" Mr Tony said and Davis smiled and tapped Mr Tony's shoulder.

" Good, now do as I have said. I will take my leave now" Davis said and left the hotel before returning back to the dorm.

 All his plans changed dimension but it was all for good. The hotel was the first thing he would be using his money to buy and it made him so excited that he is now the owner of the biggest five star hotel in Brooklyn, New York City.

 Davis thought that he needed to let Mr Roland know what he did with the one billion dollars he asked Mr Roland to send to Mr Tony.

It was as if Mr Roland was waiting for Davis to call, he picked after the first ring.

" Hello, young master" Mr Roland called and Davis chuckled.

" Were you waiting for my call?" Davis asked but Mr Roland said nothing.

" I called to let you know that I used the one billion dollars to buy the biggest Five star hotel in Brooklyn and would love to renovate it and make it the biggest in the world" Davis explained and Mr Roland smiled.

" I knew it, you're your father's son. So business minded. I thought you would squander the money as some rich heirs do but it turns out you invested with the money to get five times the amount you bought it. I am really proud of you young master " Mr Roland said truthfully.

" Thank you Mr Roland, and about the transfer of ownership to me, by what time should I be there?" Davis asked as he lay on his small bed inside his dormitory.

" Anytime that is comfortable for you, young master" Mr Roland replied and Davis nodded.

" See you by a day after tomorrow, " Davis said and hung up before exhaling happily.

He has never been this happy and fulfilled in his life. The fact that Mr Roland, the butler of the Chen family is proud of him for investing his money made him so happy and fulfilled.

 NEXT DAY

Davis prepared for class and left his dormitory just ten minutes before class would commence.

Just as he walked through the hallway leading to his class, he saw a group of people murmuring and staring at him as always but he didn't care not until Kelvin and his accomplices walked to his front, blocking him from going to class.

" I heard that you're the owner of that Five star hotel, is it true?" Kelvin asked as he held Davis by his shirt.

" Why don't you ask the people who fed you with such information?" Davis asked and Kelvin raised his hand to punch him but stopped midway.

" This is the reason I can never believe such a thing from anyone. You're just a poor church rat who can even afford a thousand dollars let alone buy a five star hotel worth one billion dollars' ' Kelvin said luckily.

" Can you let me leave?" Davis asked and walked away before Kelvin could give his approval.

" That bastard, he is getting way ahead of himself and I need to teach him some lessons" Kelvin muttered and glared at Davis' back as he made his way to the class.

 Getting to the class, all eyes immediately fell on him as he became the centre of attraction. The Davis who no one wants to sit with or talk to, is now the centre of attraction in the whole Starship University.

 Before Davis could walk to his seat, a boy rushed to him and held his hand.

" Hey Davis, I heard you bought a five star hotel last night, is it true?" The boy asked but Davis said nothing.

" If you don't know the truth, just keep your mouth shut. The person the informant saw might now be me" Davis walked to the podium and used the microphone to make the announcement.

" It's true, it's him I saw, the receptionist in the hotel was pleading so he won't fire her but Davis fired her for mocking him. I saw him myself when coming back from the club beside the hotel" Laura, Rita's friend said.

" Maybe it's not him. You must be delusional Laura, how would Davis of all people buy a five star hotel? Who will give him such a huge amount of money? Let's be realistic here, we are talking about one billion dollars, not one million. It's not possible, because if it ever happens, I will kneel down and lick Davis' shoes" Rita said and Laura nodded.

" Maybe I am just delusional," Laura muttered and sighed.

Though she was trying to convince herself that whoever she saw at that hotel the previous night wasn't Davis, her head didn't agree with her because it kept replaying the image of Davis at the hotel the previous night.

 Hearing what Rita said, Davis only smirked and made his way to his seat. 

" I will make sure you kiss and lick my shoe once you find out that I am the owner of the hotel" he said inwardly and brought out his text books and began reading.

 Soon, the lecturer, Mrs Lydia walked in and everyone stood to greet her.

" Good day to you too, students. I am here to announce to you that there will be parents meeting in this university so I will advise you to bring your parents or guardians here" she said said and murmurs erupted inside the class. Everyone was talking except for Davis who kept quiet since he has no family or guidance.

" Davis," Mrs Lydia called and all eyes fell on Davis who looked up from his book.

" Yes ma'am?" Davis replied with a slightly raised brow.

" What about your parents or guidance?" she asked asked but Davis said nothing for a few seconds before replying.

" They are both dead so I have no one except myself" Davis replied and the whole class burst into a thunderous laughter as if he just cracked the most funny joke of the century.

" What's funny? Are you all laughing at him because he has no parents? Is it funny?" Mrs Lydia shouted angrily and they all fell silent.

" I am sorry Davis, but it is a compulsory meeting, so you're to bring a relative of yours or a guide" Mrs Lydia said which made Davis sigh and his mind immediately went to Mr Roland, he smiled afterwards.

" Sure Mrs Lydia, I will surely bring my relative here" Davis replied loudly which made the lecturer smile.
