Chapter 9 Coming Up with A Plan

That night, Loraine leaned against Tyler’s chest on his bed.

She spoke coquettishly, “Tyler... Maybe you should agree to Caroline’s demands. Only if you get divorced that Mr. Zellweger will be pleased. By that time, he'd definitely agree to give you another subsidiary. Once you have more power in hand, nothing will be out of your reach!”

“Even though Caroline is carrying Mr. Zellweger’s child, she’ll never be anything more than a mistress. With her family background, there’s no way that she’ll be able to marry into the Zellweger family. Also, after she gives birth, her body will go out of shape. By then, Mr. Zellweger will definitely dump her."

“Once she loses her bargaining chip, we’ll get back everything that she asked from us. She won't be able to do anything. With your capabilities, you wouldn’t even need to lift a finger to get back what belongs to you!”

Tyler’s eyes narrowed as he thought about what Loraine said. After a moment, he lifted her chin amorously and said, “Loraine, you’ve always been thoughtful. She’s already pregnant with Mr. Zellweger’s child, yet she still wants to take away my property? What a joke!”

“That b*tch definitely doesn’t even know that Mr. Zellweger is only doting on her now because of her looks and that baby. Eventually, he’s going to abandon her, and at that time...” Tyler trailed off.

He clenched his fist and squinted, “I won’t let her get away with this!”

At the same time that they were coming up with a plan, it was dinner time over at Villa No. 16.

Caroline was currently six weeks pregnant. Instead of showing any signs of discomfort, she had a voracious appetite.

The Zellweger family’s chef was the cream of the crop. Even though there were only Eddison and Caroline eating, the chef had prepared a table full of dishes. Throughout the meal, Caroline did not bother to hold back.

When they were eating fruits after dinner, Eddison leaned back slightly and said, “Beryl’s already gotten your room ready. I’ll be in the study, which isn’t far from your room. If you have any questions, just come to me directly.”

Caroline glanced at him and said, “I don’t think I’ll have anything to ask you about.”

Eddison raised his eyebrows and motioned for Beryl to attend to her. Then, he left the table and headed upstairs.

Caroline breathed a sigh of relief. Eddison's presence was too intimidating that she couldn’t ignore him whenever he was around. Now that he was gone, she could finally relax.

After she was done eating, she grabbed a napkin and dabbed her mouth with it. At this time, Frank walked over.

“Miss Simons, I'm wondering if you could spare me a few minutes?” he asked.

Caroline furrowed her brows slightly. It was a fact that she would be staying here for the time being as she would not be able to return to the Long family anymore. Also, she doubted Eddison would agree to let her move out.

Whatever Frank was going to say to her was probably related to Eddison.

“Of course, Frank. There’s no need to hold anything back,” Caroline said.

Frank then invited her to have a seat in the living room. He then spoke to Caroline politely, "Miss Simons, since you're staying in this house now,  I think it would be in your best interest to understand Mr. Zellweger’s daily routine and habits. “

“Mr. Zellweger is the sole decision-maker of the Zellweger Group. He leaves the house at 8.20 every morning, but it’s hard to say what time he’ll return home. Most importantly, at any time that Mr. Zellweger is home, the house has to be completely silent,” Frank continued.

“On the weekends, Mr. Zellweger has a habit of taking afternoon naps. His bedroom is on the second floor. During that time, nobody is allowed to be on the second floor. Even if you're on a different floor, you have to make sure your footsteps are inaudible."

At this point, Frank’s expression became obscure. However, he immediately continued, “Miss Simons, please remember to always keep a distance of at least one meter from Mr. Zellweger. He doesn’t like it when women are too close to him. Besides, he dislikes the pungent smell of women's perfume, and also dislikes women wearing revealing clothes... "
