CHAPTER 13

They had a bit of argument, deciding where to sleep. Williams insisted they share the same bed but Glen wasn't okay with it. He chose to lay on the ground with blankets.

Williams asked to lay on the sheets instead but Glen wasn't ready to let Williams, his senior sleep on the floor while he gets on the bed.

After their strained arguments Glen laid on the floor facing the ceiling and fiddling nervously.

The last time he shared a room with someone was with his sister and Charlotte, which was years a ago. He didn't feel relaxed. He was scared that he might snore or make weird noises when he sleeps.

"Glen, you don't have to sleep on the floor. You should come share this bed with me." He persisted once more.

He's still pushing through with this…

"I-I'm fine…"

he replied anxiously tightening his eyes like the Demands were already exhausting him mentally.

"Hah…why are you so relentless…"

he grumbled crinkling his face displeased. Their demeanor was extremely quiet for a moment. Glen gingerly opened his eyes to peek at Williams. He wanted to be sure he was fast asleep since he was so quiet.

His eyes met William's pressing gaze on him.

He had been staring at him in their quietness.

He flinched and averted his eyes awkwardly. "Ah…senior Williams…I thought you were fast asleep."

"I want to ask a question but I'm worried you might become uncomfortable…" he said still pressing his gaze on Glen.

What could he want to ask?…

"I-I don't mind…whatever senior Williams ask me."

He said fixing his gaze more intensely at the ceiling.

"Is Glen still a virgin?"

Huh?

Glen jolted up stunned as he stared at Williams. Unable to believe Williams who talked innocently was asking him such questions.

"Ah…" he muttered to himself and recalled his past incident with Phil.

He doesn't consider himself pure anymore, Phil who he didn't feel a thing for back then have done almost everything thing with him. He had experience pleasure but it was short while and was done against his will.

Glen clenched the blanket over his stomach pensively—tightening his eyes.

"I'm sorry if my questions made you uncomfortable. You don't have to force yourself to answer if it's hard on you."

Williams interrupted him seeing how he was fighting with his thoughts. He wondered why he was to strained trying to answer.

He lowered his head gazing at the blanket. "I'm sorry…I was…"

"Don't sweat it. Let's rest."

Did something happen to him in the past? Looking at Glen, he looks very vulnerable…who knows the sorta thing that may have went on in his life growing up…ah I don't want to even begin to imagine…

Glen laid back down staring at his ceiling in a daze.

"Are you free tomorrow?" William enquired tossing backward and proceed to gaze at the ceiling too.

"I…have to study tomorrow."

He returned his gaze to Glen and angled his lip in a soft smile. "Great! We'll study for a while then hangout a bit. what do you say?"

"Okay…"

A smile of content emerged on William's face and he slowly shut his eyes.

— — -

It was morning Glen walked into the sitting room to see Charlotte sitting cross armed in a daze. Her grandmother's death was probably causing her to feel depressed.

"Charlotte?"

He called out her name drawing her out of her thoughts. She uncrossed her arm and shifted her gaze to him. "Glen…Good morning."

"Good morning. How are you feeling?" He enquired.

"Hah…better I guess…" she responded and shifted her gaze to the floor before returning it to Glen. She noticed he was all dressed up about to leave.

"Where are you going?" She enquired.

"Williams asked that we study together, but we'll stop at our places to change first. Wanna come along? You can use it as a means of distraction." He said beaming a soft smile.

"Ahh…I want to clear my thoughts…maybe some other time. Be careful out there." She threw her head backward on the sofa narrowing her eyes like she was a bit sleepy.

Glen did not want to probe in any further and just stared at her before looking away with a brooding eyes.

She looks tired…

Williams languid voice suddenly sounded behind them as he approached.

"Are you done?" He enquired.

"Yes."

"What about Charlotte is she coming with us?"

They both turned their attention to Charlotte it seemed she already slept off without a warning.

"Ah…she's fast asleep…let's not worry her. I already told her we were going to study." Glen responded as he stood up clutching his bag straps.

"Alright, let's go and let her rest."

They both walked outside the door and got in the back of a cab.

"Senior Williams. I have to get place so I can change."

"Don't worry about that, I will buy you clothes on our way." He responded as he put on his seat belt. "Put yours on."

"Ok."

He crossed his seat belt over him nervously and continued. "Senior Williams…y-you don't have to go through all those hassle…and I think it's waste of money."

"Huh?"

He cocked an eyebrow stunned. He wondered why Glen was always hesitant in receiving favours from him even though they were already quite close.

"I don't mind though…and why would buying clothes for you be such a hassle for me?"

He looked beside hims to meet Williams discontented expression and hastily lowered his head anxiously.

"I already have clothes-"

"But I want to do something nice for Glen."

He rushed in with his own speech cutting Glen off. Glen could feel his face burning from embarrassment.

They arrived at a men's boutique. Glen was quite hesitant to pick up some nice clothes that caught his eyes because the prices on the tags were very expensive and he did not want to have williams spending so much on him.

He moved around to search for cheaper clothes nervously wandering around. It was quite amusing for Williams to witness. He chuckled silently as he watched glen getting startled from the prices even though he seemed to like them. He picked up one of the T-shirt Glen has looked at and proceeded to appraoach him.

"Glen, do you like this?"

He enquired showing him the T-shirt. Glen was hesitant to say yes because of the pricing.

"I don't…" he responded nervously and hastily turned to search for cheaper alternatives.

"Glen, try this one. I want to get it for you."

He shoved the T-shirt on his chest. Glen hesitantly grasped it.

"Okay.."

He proceeded to try it on and came out embarrassed with his his head lowered and could feel his face burning as William's lips twisted with a contented smile.

"As expected, black clothes compliments your pale skin."

"T-thank you…"

"Wait."

Williams got up and proceeded to pick up a face cap he had earlier seen an wore it on Glen's head.

"Perfect!"

The corner of his lips twisted in an astonished grin.

— — -

They both sat in a cafe glancing through their books intently for a while sipping their coffees. They didn't even realize how much time had passed.

Glen yawned fatigued wipping the tear bubbles on his lashes and proceeded to glimpse at Williams as he studied his book intently.

There were quite some interesting things about Williams. He unexpectedly wore glasses to study, it had had Glen wondering if Williams was short sighted.

He didn't even realized he was staring at Williams for too long. He could clearly see Williams astounding facial features this time, from his honey brown eyes to his sharp jawlines, his high bridge nose and his bushy brows that complimented his curly hair.

"Glen, is there something on my face?"

Williams abruptly enquired with a grin startling Glen out of his dazeness. Glen could feel his face burning for embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry…I didn't realize I was staring too much.

He responded averting his eyes abashed. Williams chortled out an amused laugh closing his books and took of his glasses slanting quite close to Glen.

"What do you think about my face when you look at me?"

Huh? Why is he asking me such embarrassing questions…

"I-I think senior Williams is handsome and has a pretty curly hair."

He responded abashed and hastily lowered his gaze. He could feel his cheeks burning from embarrassment.

"Do you want to touch my hair?"

Williams asked with a grin and proceeded to lower his head close to Glen.

"Feel it. I won't mind."

Glen was a bit hesitant and nervously patted his hair ruffling it curiously like a kid.

Is so soft…and it smells nice.

"It's soft."

He responded abashed as he retracted his hands averting his eyes from Williams whom was grinning from content. Glen picked up a book to hide his abashed expression.

"Can I touch your hair too?"

Willams enquired with an glistening expression, in Glen's eyes it was as if he had grown a puppy ear and tail wagging patiently for their master to approve of his demands.

"Y-yes."

Glen covered his face with his book and lowered his head for Williams hand to reach his properly.

Williams slowly patted his hair before ruffling his hair giddily in content.

"It's really soft. Even though I have touched it before, I'm only feeling it properly today."

Glen was so embarrassed. It felt like his heart was about to leap out of his chest.

— —

They stood outside the cafe glancing around.

"Let's get something to eat."

Williams said as he typed on his phone and shoved it back in his pocket. "Where'd to want to eat?"

"Anywhere is fine…"

"Okay then let's go."

They walked passed someone immersed in his phone. They guy who was wearing a bucket hat perceived a familiar scent as they walked past him and his eyes immediately followed them to reveal his face; it was Phil. Glen's trauma.

He stared at the small figure intently with his blonde hair sticking out of the hat looked familiar to him. He couldn't easily forget that pale nape. He tilted a brow incredulously with a scoff.

"Glen?"
