Loner

I reached the apartment and I was about to open the door when I heard two voices inside the house,one for my roomie Rayan and another one for a girl..jeez he brought his girlfriend again.If I had a choice i would just go without disturbing them but I had no choice I needed my stuff from inside.


I decided to knock cause if I just open the door even if I have my keys with me,I might not like what I will see..so at least let me knock so that they put away all that is not good for my eyes..


Rayan came and opened the door but he was half naked with his boxers...in my mind I was like pheeeeww thank God i knocked,am sure it was about to go down..he looked at me as if he has seen a ghost but i ignored him and left him standing there in the door way and headed to the bedroom.


I locked myself in and started packing a few of my things...Rayan  came and started knocking so I had to go and open for him..I just opened the door and went back to my packing.


Him; hey man I received your text saying you are not coming back..and here you are, now packing things.What is going on?? is everything okay??


Well am leaving for a while though am not sure when I will be back but I have to come back .for now you have the house to yourself.


him; hmm something is not right..you can't come out of the blue and say you are leaving?? there has to be a reason..okay where are you heading now?? is it about the emergency at home you texted me ??


I really didn't know what to tell him cause I have issues with opening up to people..but its fine if I tell him cause he had my back for a while now..I was about to tell him when his girlfriend came knocking..


her; baby come and  call for me a cab I go back home...and don't invite me ever again if you are going to leave me alone here..any way never mind am leaving..bye


ohh ohh you better go and get her before she leaves..sorry I ruined your night but am going to text you.


he went out running after her and i also finished up with the packing and headed outside.


I was moving out when I saw Rayan  moving his girl to the garage..hmm good he managed to stop her now whatever they do from the garage is none of my business.


I got into the car and headed to the hospital to pick up my parents...I reached there and went straight to mom's ward and dad had already packed all her stuff and she was sitting in a wheelchair.when she saw me she opened her arms for me and I ran into them for her warm hug..I really missed her.


Dad rubbed his hand on my back and said okay thats enough you guys now let's go..am sick of this place already.


Dad got the suitcase and I pushed mom in her wheelchair..it was getting late so dad didn't allow me to drive,he told me to sit with mom in the back...I think mom was tired from the medicine and stuff cause when we entered the car she just put her head on my shoulder and slept.


we were still on the way when i heard my phone ringing and i pulled it out from my pocket but it was an unknown number...I wonder who it is??


I picked it up but there was a lady's voice on the other side who said hello.
