Valor is a high school graduate who didn't go to college and decided to start hustling here and there inorder to survive but he was always under looked because he spent most of his time alone but there is this one girl boss' daughter at his work place who always challenged him with different tasks and he heard rumors that she had a crush on him...could this be true??..can she help him come out of his loner-world??...let's take this journey together.

Loner

I kept quiet and didn't say a word cause mom had put her head on my and my core could easily wake her up and i don't want to wake her up.


 I kept the phone on but didn't say a word, so the caller responded by saying,"hey mr.Valor are you still there?? and why the hell are you keeping quiet??.


jeez I hate such callers like I asked her to call me up..I lost it and I replied in a very cold tone.


So who are you talking with an attitude on my phone??


her; ohh so you have some guts to talk to me like that ( evil laughs)..anyway I called to infor...


she was still bubbling when I cut the call..Does she know that i have had a long day today and the only thing am looking forward to is getting some rest.


Mom woke up while yawning and asked me who had called me that I responded to in a harsh way..


Mom get back to sleep some wrong number called me never mind.


mom; no son I don't think its a wrong number cause I heard her asking that Mr.valor are you still there? meaning she knew the person she was calling.I think you should call her back maybe she had an important reason why she called more so at this hour of the night..ohh by the way you should reduce on your phone speaker..if it was low maybe I wouldn't have woken up..(she passed her hand in my hair and gave me a warm smile)


ohh you are right mom you are the second person to tell me about my speaker..let me reduce it right away..but am going to call her back after reaching home.


mom; no sweetie what if she doesn't pick up by that time?? look we are still stuck in traffic I don't know when we are going to reach home..please call her back right now.


Okay mom..I called her back but she didn't pick up..mom see she is playing hard to get


mom; no oo no no son you acted like a jerk earlier on and ladies dont like that,Even if they are the ones in the wrong...call again


I dialed again and she picked up by saying," so you remembered whom you are playing with huh??


I silently uttered what the hell?? and mom saw it and  she knocked me with her elbow..she silently told me ,"play dumb" 


I replied to this lady that am sorry but I think you called a wrong Valor cause I don't know you.


her; huh!!! don't play dumb with me.Ain't you Valor the stupid hoodie guy_??


I was going to hang up but mom pushed the phone back to my ear..


her ; whatever you are doing drop it and listen to me carefully,dad told me he gave you punishment and you are going. work over time for the next two weeks...I was about to interrupt her cause I thought boss had only given me over time for only tomorrow but for two fucking weeks?? Goddd..she cut me off and continued


her; I don't want you to talk when am still talking..hope am clear.


God this girl is blessed cause mom and dad are here otherwise I would have given her a piece of my mind..am a low key guy but I also deserve some respect,am not her son that she can talk to me any how..


her; am going to be your new supervisor and I need you in place by six sharp tomorrow morning...and she hanged up.


I put my palms in the the face cause I couldn't believe what just happened..


mom: son is everything okay?? you look disturbed..who was that??


I just turned and looked at her then I told her that mom leaving very early tomorrow..my boss needs me.


I was going to answer her that no but dad interrupted and said don't worry son am going to drive you to work like i promised..tell me how early are you leaving??


Tomorrow am leaving very early
