Snape soon saw the space distort as he returned once again to that same room, while the first thing he noticed was a scream from Astrid Bandear.
"What is that?!" she screamed as she saw someone appear again in front of her, none other than that same student who had disappeared over a month ago.
Snape looked at her with narrowed eyes, not liking the flawed scream coming from the woman one bit.
"Can you stop making a scene?" Severus commented in a neutral but irritated tone.
"You... you're asking me not to make a scene?! You simply disappeared over a month ago!! Do you know how this mess escalated?! Were you riding the wave?!" she began shouting desperately.
"Shut up." Snape said suddenly, in a tone unlike anything from before, having lost his patience with the woman's irritating exclamations, as the atmosphere itself changed.
Snape was much more powerful now; he carried the Orb of Avarice and his wand had fused with the essence of lightning, not to mention the numerous levels his rank and magic status had at that moment.
Astrid Bandear was stunned as she seemed to see death itself manifesting in front of her, with the environment growing darker, while the eyes of that student turned bright blue, seemingly wanting to become purple, as if that color represented a power she had never seen before in her long life as a painting.
Fear invaded her, freezing her in place, even as a painting, while she immediately fell silent as if her life depended on it.
"So it's been a month..." With things calming down, Severus commented thoughtfully. It seemed this must have escalated into something very bad regarding him.
"A-A month and a week..." Astrid Bandear corrected while stammering in fear of Snape's gaze as he still seemed deep in thought about it.
"I see... I'll return." Snape said, teleporting from there with shadow teleportation as he headed to another empty part of the castle.
"What was that... who was that boy?!" Astrid Bandear murmured, feeling much more relieved that he had left, although Snape's gaze still terrified her even in her memory of the boy.
There were so many unanswered questions for the woman there, who could do nothing but wait for the headmaster to open the door to speak with her, wanting to inform him that Severus Snape had returned in a strange way and he was terribly frightening.
Severus took his phoenix while heading directly to the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts, as everything looked clean and organized in the main area, when Dobby appeared at that moment with his apparition, his eyes lighting up upon finally seeing Severus there.
"Master Snape!!" he shouted joyfully, running to Snape, hugging him as Severus saw the elf cling to his leg.
"Tell me everything that has happened in my absence." Snape requested, while the elf nodded with a certain caution.
He began to tell him about the searches that took place in an attempt to find him, but they had found no clue or rumor across the entire world. In the end, Snape was officially declared dead less than two weeks ago, shaking the wizarding world, as the champion of the dueling tournament was presumed dead in such a way.
Then came the students' holidays, as many went home — everyone Snape knew ended up leaving — at the same time that You-Know-Who reappeared and attacked Snape's shop, destroying it.
"He did what?!" Snape said with a serious look, while Dobby immediately grew fearful, watching the entire environment change as everything became darker and more ominous.
"M-Mister Snape... I'm scared..." he murmured, retreating as he trembled in fear.
Snape noticed this and immediately stopped releasing his aura everywhere, as his gaze fell to the ring given by Vujin. He had to adjust his magic, it was too powerful, so he immediately concealed a part of it.
"Genini? Is she alright?" Severus asked.
"She... I heard she was badly injured, tortured by Crucio..." Dobby murmured, still cautious as he looked at Snape.
"I swear they'll all pay for this!" Severus was enraged, so much so that upon uttering those words, even without releasing much aura, the entire room trembled, making Dobby shrink even more.
"I'm going to check the place." he said, as he sensed his shadows seemed to be working on potions for the other shops.
In any case, he reappeared where the shop he managed as the second dark lord would be. He appeared in a place all burnt and destroyed, with part of it open to the street.
The place was full of shattered potions on the floor, and he saw his most important shop completely destroyed. He just clenched his fist as he noticed some people peeking through the holes made by explosive spells, staring at someone in the wrecked store.
Snape didn't even care about them as he walked to the destroyed door and exited the place, being seen by some wizards, walking toward St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, which was also nearby. Soon, he blended into the crowd and looked like a Hogwarts student on holiday.
"I need to see Genini." Snape said as soon as he entered.
"Genini? What room is she in?" the woman asked.
"Genini is that house-elf," another staff member passing by said, looking at Snape with curiosity.
"Oh, the one from the potion shop... What's your name?" she asked, while her colleague quickly recognized Snape from the newspaper photo of the missing student.
"Severus?!" a voice came from behind Snape, and he turned to see Rosaria looking at him with a great sparkle in her eyes.
"It's really you!" she exclaimed, running up to him and hugging him tightly.
"I smelled your scent! I knew you'd be back soon!" she exclaimed joyfully as Snape nodded, accepting her embrace and even returning it, though he had a serious look directed at Rosaria.
"Have you been taking care of my elf?" Snape asked, not caring to say such words. He had never told Rosaria that the shop was really his, although she wasn't foolish and knew the shop was his, as did many others — and consequently, so was the house-elf.
"Of course, as soon as I found out what happened, I brought her here and paid for the treatment... she was really tortured with Crucio... I'm sorry." she said, not letting go of him, keeping her head on his chest, breathing in his wonderful scent.
"I see... can you take me to her?" he asked, and she nodded, leading the way as Snape followed close behind.
They went up to the second floor, where Snape saw a nurse looking at him in surprise — none other than Andromeda. She seemed to be working there.
"Severus..." she said as they passed by her.
"Andromeda... how are you and your family?" he asked, while she pressed her lips together.
"I don't know... it's been more than two weeks since I left the family." she said, while Rosaria looked at her for the first time, clearly not liking her.
"Astraea expelled you?" Snape narrowed his eyes.
"She wanted me to follow some family traditions... but I refused." she replied.
"I'm working as I always wanted, here as a nurse, and I plan to make a career out of it. Miss Penelope, who worked at Hogwarts last year, is teaching me too." she said.
"Good for you. Anyway, I have something to see." he said, nodding to her.
"You mean the house-elf my grandmother bought before passing her to you? I'm sorry, Severus, but she doesn't have much time. We prolonged her life as much as we could, but the damage from the torture was significant." she said with sorrow.
Snape nodded in silence and continued walking. Rosaria soon pointed to the bed where Genini was, as Snape stepped inside the curtain surrounding the bed, finding the house-elf lying there, her body convulsing rhythmically.
She was dying.
Suddenly, a tremor began to shake the hospital, alerting everyone as everything trembled and various objects fell to the floor. People looked around in fear, trying to understand what was happening.
The screams continued for a few more seconds as confusion spread, and Rosaria glanced at Snape with a cautious look, realizing he was letting his magic explode like that.
'How powerful is he now?!' she murmured. He was simply angry, and everything was already in chaos.
Severus took a deep breath, and due to the commotion that began to calm down at that moment, Genini woke up, slowly opening her eyes as her gaze fell on Snape.
"Master Snape...?" she murmured, disoriented.
"Genini." Snape was calm again, although his voice carried a hidden storm.
"You're back, Master Snape... everyone said you had died, but they were wrong... Master Snape is alive, Genini... knew it." she spoke in a weak tone as Snape nodded.
"I just had a few problems. I'm back." Snape said as the elf nodded.
Rosaria remained silent, listening to it all.
"You know... Genini always feared Master Snape... but Master Snape was always a good master, and Genini was happy running your shop..." she said while trembling and stammering in a frail voice.
"..." Severus remained silent.
"She didn't say anything about you..." Rosaria finally commented.
"I heard she was tortured for answers, but she didn't say a word. She'd rather die than say anything about you." she explained.
"I'm sorry I wasn't here to protect her." Severus said, while the shadows at his feet stirred, sensing the fury of their king at that moment.
"Master Snape..." Genini murmured.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine. Besides, I'll hunt them all down — every last one. Now rest." Severus said as Genini fell asleep in the next moment.
Rosaria watched as he suddenly pulled out a strange vial with a glowing liquid, opening it and pouring it into Genini's mouth.
The half-vampire simply observed curiously, as Snape discarded the vial after placing the last drop into the elf's mouth.
Then she began to see the difference — the convulsions started to subside rapidly, until they stopped altogether, and the elf began to breathe normally again.
"How?" Rosaria couldn't help but ask, curious.
"It doesn't matter now... anyway, you can stay with her. I need to take care of a few more things..." Severus said.
"You plan to fight them. Can I come? You know I can be useful." she said.
"Not yet. I want to check something else first." Snape replied, with Rosaria agreeing in the end.
He vanished from the room, reappearing on the roof of the hospital, overlooking the entire Diagon Alley.
His gaze extended beyond the magical place — it was now focused on the outer world.
He had received a special item when he crossed the portal, along with a special ability.
Now, he would first deal with one of his problems.
Then he would spread his shadows across all of England, declaring that his war against Voldemort was truly about to begin.
At the same time, in the middle of space, a comet cut through the void of ether in the universe, entering the planetary system of the sun — the central star of this planetary group.
It had only one objective, and it was headed to one place alone as it advanced — Earth.
