- Mum, let's go to the cafe! - exclaimed a little boy, who could only be about five or six years old.

- Sure, Shinji. - The brunette woman smiled warmly at him, and their gaze fell on the building across the street. The sign read "Cafe Anteiku", and so the mother and child headed inside without hesitation.

A white-haired guy sitting at a table by the window led them in. He was dressed in a black T-shirt, dark blue jeans and a grey jacket, and black trainers were tapping an incomprehensible rhythm on the floor.

He propped his head on the table with his left hand and watched the street. His gaze slid over the cars rushing along the road, people walking on the pavement, and buildings with various signs.

His brown eyes were filled with boredom, and his expression was extremely sour. Suddenly, a girl with dark blue, long hair sat down across from him and looked round at the guy with a smile.

- Is something wrong? - she asked interestedly.

- No, I'm just bored. - complained her interlocutor. - You know, Esdes, ever since we went to Akame's place, I've been getting a strange feeling... You know, like when you finish a piece of writing that you really like?

The girl shrugged, moving her hair away from her eyes.

- Yeah, how would you know? - hummed the guy. - You're a fighting girl, and you've been subjugating tribes while growing up... But still, I suggest you go to Touka and ask her to introduce you to the art of cinema.

- I'm not going to ask her for anything! - Esdes snorted. - Kaneki, why don't we go out? I've been bored sitting here lately too!

- No..." the white-haired man said. - I'm sorry, but I don't feel like going out. I want... I don't even know what. - suddenly the guy got up from his seat. - Listen, look after Hinami, she's in my room. I'm gonna go for a walk.

I walked leisurely down the street, smoothly sidestepping everyone who walked towards me. Yeah, after killing the basics, I've become addicted to some flashy action. He's the one who still had Fey canon going on, and I'm not so happy about it. Akame's canon ended long ago, just like here in the world of Tokyo Ghoul. So what am I supposed to do?

Meanwhile...

In the huge, spherical room, in the middle of which sat a giant in a black cloak and white mask, it was incredibly quiet today. Muru-Muru was reading her manga on the sidelines, Deus himself was tapping his huge fingers on the buttons that only he knew the meaning of.

Suddenly, the room shook violently, and a black-haired guy appeared in one of the twelve circles around Deus, right in front of him.

- Ugh, as always the transition here is quite thunderous. - he hummed, shaking off his black jacket. - Hello, Deus!

- Ohhh, my dear friend! - there was genuine joy in the god's voice. - It's been a long time since you've visited us!

Muru-Muru, meanwhile, quickly began grabbing her magazines, sidling towards the tunnel that led out of the room. However, her escape plan was not going to go unnoticed.

- Muru-Muru-Muru! - the guest exclaimed happily. - I'm so glad to see you!

- KYA!!! - shrieked the short girl in a panic, throwing her magazines and flying out of the room as fast as she could.

- Oh, she still hasn't got over that joke, has she? - The boy asked Deus with a look of sadness.

- You were cruel. - The giant replied cheerfully, and then chuckled a little merrily.

- Yeah, there was a time... I'm bored! - complained the boy. - My second favourite is flying around between the worlds now, and the first one is living quietly, so there's no reason to have fun.

- Well, my friend, compared to me, you have global problems. - Deus' voice was sarcastic, something the god had never given off before.

- What could be more global for a god than boredom? - the boy asked in surprise. - Because for as long as I've existed, my only problem has been this thing.

- You're the god of the whole web, aren't you? - Deus chuckled. - You don't need to find a successor before you die.

Silence settled, and a slight smile left the lips of the guy, who looked seriously at his old friend.

- So your term is coming to an end, huh? - he concluded sadly. - Well, I knew this moment would come one day. You're already preparing the game, aren't you?

- Yes, I've even got the set of pieces ready. All that's left is the finishing touches, which will take two or three years.

- Hey, why don't we have some fun before you die? - the guy grinned. - I've got a free favourite who's doing nothing, and he's also bored out of his mind. So how about I put him in your world?

- And make him a figure? - Deus chuckled. - Then we can call the game a day. He's going to win anyway. He has kagune, magic, and a lot of combat experience. And if he has the diary.

- What if you don't give him the diary? - the guy grinned. - I can take away his immortality and magic. But what he will do with the key characters, I'm very interested. Gassai! I mean, he suffered similar problems in his time, though he solved them... a little differently.

- Hmm... are you suggesting making him an outsider?

- No, a figurehead too. The former may well give way to him. Only, his essence will compensate for the future. What do you think?

Deus paused, stopping clicking on the keys. The giant thought for a moment, and after a couple of minutes of deliberation, he nodded.

- Great! - The guy exclaimed, then snapped his fingers and a green portal appeared between them, from which a white-haired guy fell out.
