Chapter 37 - Ravel The Ultimate Schemer

Under a non-particular mid-day sun, Ray was enjoying or rather, suffering another one of the dreaded slow days.

With him is a small array of ladies, from little girls to youthful teens. They were enjoying their time at the now bloomed garden of beautiful flowers. Some of the flowers were blooming even though they weren't supposed to. In the middle of the garden is beautiful shade integrated with the garden itself where they gathered. The whole garden itself look like it was taken straight out from a fairytales.

It was a mentally relaxing place to be especially for a certain someone that might destroy the world if he felt inclined to out of boredom. At least with the beautiful and relaxing scenery, he felt sleepy as his cat-like sleepiness kicked in and made him took a nap as opposed to being stucked in a hyper aware and omniscient mind that could cook up all sort of destructive and down right horrific idea to rid his boredom.

Besides Ray who is having a pleasant nap dreaming about him being the main antagonist, crushing some Beta cuck MC and NTR his harem and the goddess which he turn into his captive and unleashed all sort of impure and depraved desires upon, all while being sprawled up on the table and purring innocently in his sleep.

Sirin was actually drawing a painting instead of holding a futuristic console game ahead of time and play games. Her eyes were filled with competitiveness as she occasionally glance at her newest sister who Ray declared as his official daughter but not her.

Sirin is definitely not… jealous. No I am not! She exclaimed at the author with her teeth tightly gritted and grinding against one another.

She just felt dissatisfied that she was the first but she never received any title she can proudly boast about. For example, Sakuya is the Head Maid, Ravel is his personal caretaker, Abby is the daughter and Artoria is the loyal knight. But herself and Sakura never received any title they can boast of.

To give her feelings a more visible and easily understood example, Sirin felt like herself being like one of the soap opera character Ravel always watched, the first born daughter but born from a concubine mother as opposed to Abby, the daughter born from the Empress. She is still loved and doted by Ray, but she did not receive any acknowledge. Like the shadow daughter that often ignored and belittled by the royal court. Although that didn't really happen as no one but her seems to be obsessed with acknowledgement. Not even Sakura since she is already the happiest simply by receiving Ray's attention and nothing more.

But Sirin is a very vain person. Others do not care but she does. She feel like she deserves it. It's her right. It's her privilege that was deprived from her. The old her didn't have this kind of feelings but ever since receiving power from Ray, she felt her personality shifted ever so slightly and continuously.

The old Sirin is just a simple village girl that enjoys helping her parents running a small local bar. But the current her, she felt like everything in this world is beneath her feet. It's her own domain. Her own right. Her own privileges. She felt like the queen of the world. Without her even realizing, her personality in front of the adventurer in Orario is become increasingly haughty and vain. She enjoyed being sadistic against her enemy especially when she stomp the life out of those that dare offend her. However, in front of Ray. She returned to a meek little girl, always seeking his acknowledgement and affirmation. If that not being a daughter, she didn't know what is.

That's why, she is competing against Abby. When Abby suddenly said she wanted to paint Ray's sleeping figure on the table with the garden in the background, Sirin hurried to not being left behind and also draw a portrait with Abby. Competing who can create a better piece.

As for Sakura, she is silently observing the intense siblings rivalry between the two.

Ravel was rooting for Sirin as she is disatisfied with Abby for always stealing her only job as his personal caretaker and also her privileges to hold her Master's body. She had never even dared thinking about cuddle her Master's fluffy body yet the audacious girl dare and actually did!

'Kuh! Curse you!' Ravel cursed in her heart while biting a piece of fabric to express her overflowing jealousy whenever she thought of it.

As for Asia and Artoria, they both are neutral in the matter and abstain from being involved. Instead, they enjoy the scenery, great tea and Sakuya's personally baked goods while Asia ask about Artoria's life and Artoria is happy to share the details as she regaled her early life as a trainee and become a squire before she drew Caliburn from the infamous stone seal and beginned her journey as King Artoria to the end of her journey where she meet her current Master.

Ray woke up all of the sudden by a loud noise. He yawned deeply while holding a paw before his mouth and then rubbed his eyes.

"That's it! Daddy will be mine after I kill you!" An enraged and fed up voice of Sirin said.

"No! Father is mine and you cannot kill me." The smug sounding Abby replied.

Ray instantly opened his eyes wide, looking at what had happened when he accidentally dozed off. The first person he sees is Sakura standing close by him while the two are having a full on fight with power. Thankfully the mansion itself is located in an alternate mirror dimension so the original Earth is unaffected by the two duking out without restraints.

"Sakura… What happened?" Ray asked. Then the obedient Sakura immediately replied.

"Uhm. Sister Abby took the opportunity to cuddle Mr Kitty when you were asleep and Sister Ravel goad Sister Sirin to fight Sister Abby." Sakura gives an abridged explanation of what just went down.

Ray turned his head toward Ravel on the other side with an accusatory look which she immediately diverted her eyes away guiltily but still pouting and refused to admit her wrong with both her arms crossed, indicating her silent protest.

Ray then sighed but did nothing to stop the ongoing battle. Instead he simply even out the odds by giving Sirin a temporary power up which put a very big gloating smile on her face.

"See! Daddy favors me over you!" Sirin points her finger at Abby who is holding a big black key and an eye poking out the keyhole on her forehead and proudly declares Ray's favor for her.

"Hmph, so what? Unlike you who only get some fancy power. Father grants Abby a small portion of his true power!" Abby with a different eye color harrumphed and stabbed the oversized key into the space in front of her and opened a gate etched with mind shattering Eldritch runes which thankfully everyone is immuned to and assaulted by Sirin.

"You are just a junior sister unlike my eldest. So, let me teach you a lesson about power!" Sirin's voice carried a hint of regality as black portals blotted the sky before launching Shadow Spears endlessly, destroying the gate and the summoned tentacles, forcing Abby to go into defensive.

Meanwhile Ray watched the battle unfold without much worry. "Well, at least it's entertaining to watch." He shrugged while Ravel, the true profited party of this conflict, eagerly brought her master to rest on her body while happily hand feeding him all sorts of food.

Meanwhile, the two are still fighting. Unaware they had fallen for Ravel's plot to secure her position as her Master's personal throne once again.
