Poor Rika

"Don't take me off the inheritance list, Dad!" Ramon whined angrily.

He understood that Jaya was very tired of his gambling hobby.

The family had yet to take down the photo of Ramon's ex-wife from the photo repository so that Ramon would remember that he had failed at marriage for whatever reason. But who knows? The gambling table had always been a place that intrigued him so much that it was hard for him to stay away from it, let alone forget about it.

"That's good, Rika is replacing you. Instead of you spending my money on the gambling tables," threatened Dad, leaving Ramon helpless.

"That's it, Dad. Ramon is tired; after all, he has heard your decision. Now let him sleep," pleaded Anita, who saw Jaya getting angrier.

"That's it, take care of him." Jay said as he left them in the room.

Mom then asked the maid to carry Ramon's drunken body to his room before the wedding; the maid then changed Ramon's clothes and wiped his body, which was full of sweat all day.

Ramon couldn't say another word; he was sure that what his father had said earlier was final, and now Rika would be the heir to his father's estate.

"That's it, Ramon. Don't be such a baby. With or without your father's inheritance, you're still our son," Anita whispered, trying to calm Ramon down.

Ramon didn't answer; his body only wanted his father's wealth. He didn't know what greed was in his body, and he could never get enough of what his family gave him.

Rika, who knew Ramon was in the room, approached her husband. When she saw him coming, she let the couple talk.

With a calm face, Rika then asked the servants who were still in the room to leave; she then closed the door to the room and started talking to Ramon.

"You listened to your father's decision, now I will hold your property. I don't understand what this means, but please be a better man after this," Ramon was silent as he heard Rika's words; he didn't want to know what his father and Rika meant.

Right now, he only wanted to sleep and forget whatever happened today.

The next day. Ramon woke up with Rika's body beside him; he didn't want to touch Rika, now his father's heir.

He rushed to the kitchen and ate whatever was there.

Tobi, the servant at Ramon's father's house, seemed to be keeping a close eye on his young master; he didn't dare to come closer because he knew he would get angry if he dared to come closer.

Tobi then went to Ramon's youth room, where Rika seemed to have just woken up. He told Rika Ramon he was in the kitchen, trying to find something to eat.

Rika then walked into the kitchen, "Want me to make breakfast?" asked Rika, trying to offer help to Ramon.

"Hah, you want to be arrogant because now you have my father's property," shouted Ramon, who still seemed upset with his father's decision.

"I'm offering to help, Ramon. Don't misunderstand," said Rika pleadingly.

Ramon didn't understand, so he opened the fridge and chose cold food instead of accepting Rika's help to cook something for him.

"If you hadn't complained to me last night, I wouldn't have lost my property, you filthy woman." Ramon shouted, waking up his mother.

Mom then approached Rika, who looked sad about Ramon's attitude towards her this morning. Mom then took Rika away because she felt that in Ramon's current state, it was difficult for them to make him realize what Ramon had said.

"Already, let's go," Anita said to Rika.

Rika couldn't stand Ramon's words, so she hugged Ramon's mother with tears in her eyes, crying her eyes out.

"Rika, don't cry. Actually Ramon used to be a very innocent boy. But I don't know if her closest friends can always make her become more and more evil and wicked like today."

"Mom, I really don't understand what happened to him."

"Yes, I know, but I'm sure you can make him better," Anita whipped Rika's tears.

Rika smiled; she really wanted to make the man who was now her husband better, but what to do?

"Rika, come here. I tell you something," whispered Ramon's father, who had been watching him afar.

Jaya then told Rika that the way to change Ramon was still with money; Ramon had been raised with money since childhood, so he was very afraid he lacked money.

He then asked Rika to sign the inheritance rights that would be written in his name so that Ramon realized that everything he wanted would not be what he wanted; after that, Dad would only give as much property as they needed.

The goal was that if Ramon cheated in the future, the money Jaya gave Rika would not run out immediately because of Ramon.

Anita and Rika seemed to agree, but whether this would make Ramon better was up to Ramon to change.

"But the point is that you have to accept this inheritance right first, and don't tell anyone about our plan." Jaya pleaded firmly.

After that long conversation, Jaya finally called a lawyer to smooth out the plan.

Father said that Ramon's name was dropped from the inheritance rights and replaced with Rika's name.

Rika then signed the inheritance papers before Ramon's father's lawyer.

Ramon, who felt he had failed with his plan, could only remain silent and accept his defeat even though his heart was not sincere.

"So now legally the inheritance rights, Mr. Jaya, will be given to Rika and not to Ramon," The lawyer repeated the contents of the inheritance letter.

Rika, who did not understand the inheritance transfer, remained silent and smiled at Ramon.

"Why are you smiling at me so this is what you wanted? HAH!" shouted Ramon, which surprised the whole room.

"Ramon, this is..."

"It's your fault, Ramon," Jaya said.

"If you could be a good man, this treasure would not be for Rika," Dad said firmly. Ramon did not accept his father's words and left the room.

Braak!

Ramon slammed the door and walked away.

"Ramon." Rika shouted, trying to catch up with her husband.

"Rika, just let him go." prevented Dad while intercepting Rika. "Dad, I don't want anything to happen to Ramon. Please, Father, he is now my husband," Rika pleaded.

"Why do you have to go after him?"

"Father, Ramon's child is now in my womb, I must prevent him from leaving," hearing Rika's words, Ramon's father was shocked.
