In a world besieged by monsters, humanity's survival hangs in the balance. But hope emerges when every individual comes of age, bestowed with the chance to forge a bond with a hero. These bonds grant them formidable powers to combat the relentless threats lurking in the shadows.
Enter Chen Ye, a newcomer to this tumultuous realm. Amidst a sea of aspirants, he discovers an unexpected trend: everyone gravitates towards heroes from the legendary series "One Punch Man." While most covet the esteemed S-tier champions, Chen Ye discerns a truth hidden to others. He recognizes the unparalleled strength of the One Punch Man, a humble C-tier hero.
Undeterred by societal norms and peer pressure, Chen Ye boldly selects the Saitama Physique as his ally during the pivotal graduation ceremony. However, his decision incites scorn and derision, broadcasted live for the world to witness.
Mocked as a fool for his unconventional choice, Chen Ye retreats into a realm of silence, channeling his energy into rigorous training. Three arduous years pass, marked by relentless dedication and unwavering resolve.
Then, as if scripted by fate, a transformation unfolds. The once-dismissed Chen Ye emerges not as a punchline but as an enigma—an indomitable force. Clad in the invincible guise of the Saitama Physique, he defies the very fabric of reality, rewriting the rules of engagement and carving his legend in the annals of history.

The idea is nice, my issue is the blatant racism. Writing quality is fine, If you can ignore the racist side of it then you can enjoy it, but for me it ruined the whole experience.
I like it, but there's racism in a lot of places,Read with discretion ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
as everyone else has said, it's a typical dumb Chinese novel where the author is a retard, who has humiliation fetish.. there were so many chances if he really wanted to, keep the C rank secret/mysterious n all but the author is into some cbt/masochist stuff
great potential but sad execution, at least from what we expect. I don't want to even talk about the translation cuz it's a sad excuse of a google translate on LSD.
what is the name of original chinese one ?
I like it, but can't find the raw Chinese version anywhere not sure what the title is
The novel started off strong but quickly became dull and repetitive. It’s also incredibly racist—the MC dismisses any language other than Chinese as “gibberish,” which is disappointing. I know it's not the translator’s fault, but he really picked a bad novel!
Too much racism. Don't like when author changed the anime name (One of my favourite anime)
racist, worst translation, race supremation
meh it's a classic chines .c that hides his power with his "trash" ability and it is anoying af to read
saitama hero name is caped baldy btw. nobody calls him one punch man except author and readers
On one hand you have a decently interesting and unique premise that allows for good comedy and steady character development, +15 social credits. (as in it was interesting to see where it could have gone) On the other this is written by possibly the most racist Chinese man alive, completely neglects its potential by having the character get too strong too fast for any world to truly be a challenge, and the character ends up having no goals in life except getting stronger. -∞ social credits. Basically it's kind of annoying, wouldn't bother to pick this up.
Ai translated garbage filled with self promotion and racism
this is trash do not read it,,,,,,,,,,,,
if you are looking for more chapters you can go to fanmtl its chapters go up to 430 (aka the ending of the series) and it has the same qualities except having some writing at the end (like 3-4 lines about the editor)
