45. Extermination (1)

I stayed in Davian's room all night to keep an eye on his condition after the doctor and everyone else had left.

"Karma huh..." I mumbled and then recalled something.

"Cause and effect..." I mumbled and frowned as I felt as if I had forgotten something.

I shook my head and decided to look into the matter of the assassination first. The three assassins from today were dressed as the household personnel so, they might either have disguised themselves or there might be moles within the castle.

"God! More work." I groaned.

Davian groaned a little and I clamped my mouth as I walked over and stoked the fire a little to keep it from going out.
