Chapter 55: Ethereal Codex Sanctum Library

Noon. The weather was great. The sun rose high in the sky, turning the world into a mix of light and shadow. The temperature was getting higher.

Elias reached the Ethereal Codex Sanctum Library in a taxi.

He stood before the entrance of the Ethereal Codex Sanctum Library.

The library had been here for centuries, with its massive and antique looks. Although it was the most famous library in the city, there were not many people there. Only some tourists were taking photos.

This was because each person could only enter this library once every ten years. This was the rule set by the famous space magician who built it.

Elias continued to glance around, making sure that no one followed him.

Then, he entered the library.

As Elias walked through the library's doors, he couldn't help but marvel at the sheer size of the place.

The shelves stretched on for what seemed like miles, filled with books and artifacts. It was like stepping into a treasure trove, with something new to discover around every corner.

"It is big." Gazing at the library, Elias mumbled.

The library was massive, like something out of a fairy tale, and stepping inside was like entering a whole new world. It was magical, in more ways than one.

Elias raised his head. Many mysterious lights were floating and swirling in the air. The mysterious light to him was a confirmation that he was in the right place.

He was gazing at the lights. He knew the rules well. Once he touches it, he will have a chance to get treasure, gold, gems, or nothing. The second he chose a light, he would be teleported out from the library.

He watched as other stranger reached out to the light, their hands trembling with anticipation. The next second, they were teleported by a silver light to the outside of the building.

*blingssss

The next second, Elias felt a bit dizzy. His environment changed in a second. He glanced around and then found out that he was at a cozy reading nook tucked away in a corner.

He had barely moved, but he was still teleported to this new place. Elias knew that this was one of the rules in this library.

Every 10 minutes, he would be teleported to new places. It could be inside the library, could be at a waterfall, could be at a hill. And he only had 10 minutes to search for the time magic box.

Without wasting any time, Elias was walking around in the new place. He was finding the time magic box.

Similar to the previous place, few people were choosing their lucky light.

Walking around, Elias found nothing in this place.

10 minutes later, Elias was teleported to a new place.

Looking around, Elias found out that he was on the third floor of a building. Based on the decoration of the building, it seemed like it was a school.

Elias saw two men in black jackets, walking around at the opposite building. One of them was tall, another one was short. Elias noticed them but they didn't notice Elias yet. Elias felt strange with their action. Instead of looking at the mysterious light, they were glancing around as if finding something.

Elias slowly approached them, without them realizing.

"Eh? Just now I saw it here. Where is it now?" the tall guy, Tom said.

"You sure? Don't lie to me leh. You sure it is the time magic box?" the short guy, Jerry said.

"Yeah, I confirm. I saw it on the television. 100% it is the time magic box." Tom said.

"Haizz, so difficult to find it. We have been searching for 1 hour." Jerry.

"Hi" Elias said, standing behind them.

Two of them were shocked by Elias's voice. Tom even jumped a bit because of Elias's sudden voice.

Elias was grinning. Seeing them turned around, Elias said.

"I heard that you guys found the time magic box?" Elias asked.

"Hahaha. No lah, you misheard. Sorry, we are busy selecting our light. See you" Jerry said. Then, he grabbed Tom's arm and wanted to leave. He didn't want to let anyone know that they saw the time magic box.

Based on the news on the internet, many people were looking for it. This would put them in danger.

Tom nodded his head, agreed with Jerry, and left quickly.

Elias saw that they were leaving. The next second, Elias teleported to the spot in front of them.

Jerry closed his eyes when he saw Elias teleported in front of them. He knew that they couldn't escape already. Elias was a high rank magician.

Jerry read about the spell on his phone. It was a 8 star magic.

"Alright, we tell you. Let us leave. Deal?" Jerry said.

"No, Jerry. We can fight" Tom said, taking out his phone.

"Stupid, he is a 8 star magician." Jerry quickly pushed down Tom's phone. He was afraid that Tom's action would enrage Elias.

"We saw the time magic box in one of the classrooms. We were teleported to the classroom."

"But then, we were teleported to another place before we could reach the time magic."

"Any clue for the classroom?"

"It was the 3B classroom. Based on the decoration, should be in this building."

"alright"

"So, can we leave now?"

"cannot"

"why? you promised, right?"

"I mean, take this. Your reward." Elias gave them a notebook.

Jerry and Tom looked at the notebook. There were many tips on how to practice fire magic. It was like a treasure to them.

"Thank you so much." They said.

"May I know your name?"

"Elias."
