Chapter CIX - The Beginning of a Revolution (part 2)

"And don't forget, somehow every single one of you managed to do the control magic in Magic Technology class. The teacher did mention that the other classes also had it difficult, didn't she?"

"Ehh..."

Both of them have changed their expressions now. They looked hopeful.

"You guys aren't weak, or untalented. You are just untrained."

"Th-That is why…! Can you help us with the training?"

"Sure."

"But we can beat class A!--Eh?"

She was highly expecting me to reject… haha, that's funny.

But, my decision was already made long before they even asked.

Time to explain everything.

"You see... My plan was to become number one at the academy. But, I can't just let bullies like them stay on the top with me while I rule everything."

"O-Oh..."

"Clearly, a ruler has to choose who their henchmen is, right? That is why, my next plan is to make you guys move up the classes, completely replacing the entirety of class A."

The two were quite shocked hearing that. Then, Jericho somehow closed her eyes.

"You seemed to be speaking big… but can you really do it?"

"I don't know. Do you want class E to become the new class A?"

"I... Yes. I very much do."

"Then it's easy."

I continued on chewing my meal calmly, and they turned at each other with smiles.

As long as they wanted to, then it's possible. All of it depended heavily on their wish, whether or not they wanted to become the strongest.

I gave the two most of the layout of my plans. The schedules after classes and before classes. The time when we will be dedicating for training, and the place where we will do it.

"The plan will start tomorrow. I will announce it personally after class."

I said to the two, and they nodded.

Their roles are to be the one to contact the class president, and then tell him about the plans. And if the class president agrees, then we will move on to the plans with him leading the whole thing.

The class president will be responsible for keeping the students together, while I will be responsible for teaching them. After all, the classes in the academy aren't exactly enough to make us better and stronger.

We have to go… practice on our own.

The three of us continued to devise a plan. They suggested that we have time to train during Practical Magic class, since the teacher allows us to spar as long as it's within his rules.

I nodded and continued with the rest of the plans.

We talked until sundown, where we decided to go back to our dorms. And while I was on the way back, a group approached me.

They seemed to be… the same year as me.

"We're challenging you."

"Sure thing."

This should be easy.

And just like that, my night is filled with more battles. Just like before, no one has defeated me, and I didn't even use even a slight bit of my strength.

I can't help but wonder where the pros from the second and third years are… Milly was the only one who jumped down to face me, so I can't help but keep a lookout for them.

But if Milly is already the third strongest from the third year, then I probably won't have much to worry about.

The next day is practical magic class.

Jericho and Manda had already notified the class president, Elmone, and he said he wanted to. Everybody… wished for it.

Then this will be quite easy.

At practical magic class, the teacher wanted us to prepare for the mid-semester exams, so we began with the aiming test.

Aside from the practical teacher, the teacher from the magic aptitude class also came to teach us.

The nerdy glasses teacher…

Apparently she is very interested in our class due to some fairly obvious reasons, and she wants to help during her free time. Plus, she is the one who borrowed the magic tools from the academy for us to train with, so this class wouldn't happen without her.

The magic tool looks similar to a pistol. If you insert magic energy, the magic tool will solidify the energy and turn it into a projectile. Then you fire it, and aim for the target.

This is more of a skill-based test, that requires training and practice to get it done. But, there is another factor that plays along in the test. It's the magic energy amount.

You can insert as much magic energy as you like into the gun, and the gun will solidify the energy and make it into a projectile. The more magic energy you inserted, the bigger and longer the projectile. And if you insert a ton, it might as well look like a laser blast instead of a bullet.

There are five tools that were borrowed by the magic aptitude teacher from the academy, and we took turns in using it.

The targets were placed twenty meters away, which is fairly far. Some of the students actually managed to hit the circle, which is surprising to me.

The line goes down until it's finally my turn. I held the magic tool in my hand, and damn... It really felt like a pistol. The weight and everything.

I pointed the pistol at the target and imbued it with magic energy. First, I imbued a small amount. Let's see how this goes.

BAR!!

The sound of gunfire can be heard loudly, and the bullet only hit the fifth circle on the target, all the way down from the centre.

But, it's at the exact center of the target. Just slightly lower.

"Nice, five points--"

"Wait, can I try again?"

I asked the teacher, and he nodded.

"Sure. Try it out."

I turned my gaze back to the target, and imbued more magic energy. I inserted quite a lot, the same amount as I shot my fireballs. Then, I clicked the trigger.

BLAAR!!!

The bullet somehow turned into a laser. And since the laser ignores weight completely, it goes straight without worrying about gravity at all. It hit the centre easily.

"W-Wow... As expected of you."

The teacher muttered as I gave the tool to the person behind me, which is Jericho. She took the gun while being frozen after seeing the target. It really shot the exact centre of the middle dot.

When I arrived at the back, I got barraged by questions from everyone. Once again, I already expected this.

Being popular is tiring, huh…

I explained to them the tricks and tips about how to do this. And when their time came, they managed to hit the middle dot easily too.

Funny, because every single one of them ended up firing a laser.
