I stood there, breathless and in shock, as Lise's figure loomed in front of me, her sword still glimmering faintly in the dim light. The silence was deafening, broken only by my ragged breathing and the distant rustling of leaves. Lise's cold, piercing eyes bore into mine, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.

"What the heck are you doing?" Lise demanded, her voice sharp and filled with a mix of irritation and concern.

"I... I was lost," I stammered, my voice trembling. "I didn't know how to get back to the campus. I left Thalira's villa and couldn't find my way."

Lise sighed, her expression softening just a fraction. "You're lucky I was nearby," she muttered. "Come on, let's get you back to the campus."
