Final Day

The students shuffled their feet and exchanged nervous glances.

Aseira, notorious for her unpredictable nature and potent magic, wasn't necessarily a bad choice. But Alex, the new, untested mentor, was an unknown variable.

A few brave souls, perhaps fueled by a hint of rebellion or a desire to witness the new teacher in action, stepped towards Aseira. Others, their apprehension outweighing their adventurous spirit, hesitantly approached Alex.

Aseira, sensing the students' hesitation, interjected. "Looks like we have some daring volunteers already. Remember, everyone will get their turn. Now, form two orderly lines, one for Mr. Ten and one for yours truly."

Alex cleared his throat and straightened his posture. He wasn't exactly sure how effective he'd be at draining mana, but Aseira's earlier crash course echoed in his mind. Stepping forward, he mimicked her hand gesture, holding his palm outstretched, ready to attempt the technique.
