Understand

The Arbiter read the words on the paper again, holding it against his face for an hour now. Weisheng patiently sat by their tea table, sipping tea as if nothing had happened. 

"This is absurd!" The Arbiter put the piece of paper down and walked toward the tea table, taking his seat and pouring tea into his cup. 

"What is absurd?" Weisheng asked quietly, snacking on the sweets served with the tea. 

"That you ran here instead of talking things out with her," The Arbiter looked at Weisheng with utmost disappointment. 

Weisheng looked at the Arbiter with a judgmental gaze, "I didn't run here. Besides, I have to go back anyway. What makes you think I won't talk things out with her?"
