Chapter 7

 "Ravens' Room*

 *

"Ravy...Ravy, are you okay?" A sweet little voice snapped him out of his reverie.

Raven knew exactly who it was. Whose nerve it was to go into his room without knocking? Who would dare not address him as ALPHA?His parents, his closest friends, and Alexander, his adorable younger sister.

With a tiny smile tugging at the corner of his lips, Raphael turned to face Alexander and said, "Hi cutie pie." He gestured to the little yellow couch he had built especially for her visit. She gave him a big smile and swung her legs forward and backward while sitting.

Raven gazed at his little Angel, who was developing more quickly than he had anticipated. Memories of her first transformation into a wolf raced through his mind. If not more so than her inherent beauty, Alexander Wolfie was also incredibly beautiful.

It was a small, frail wolf, light brown in color with white spots around its neck.

 *Flashback"

On the evening of their overnight stay in his chamber, it occurred. Although he was delighted to see her shift, he still recalls the fear that evening.

"It hurts, my body burns, it burns, Ravy do something," she pleaded.

Raven thought, "She was going to shift," but his anxiety made it difficult for him to think clearly. "What was he supposed to do?"

"Aaaargh." The heat rose and Alexander began to scream.

His thoughts abruptly stopped. He should definitely mind-link his mother.

"Mum, Mum..." There was no reply. "Luna...Luna.." was uttered, but there was still no reply. I was afraid she had already fallen asleep.

"Ravy, Ravy, R....a..v..y," she muttered breathlessly, the pain growing unbearable.

 Oh God, please...

Raven took off her nightwear with haste. The wolf gave off a burning feeling because it was uncomfortable changing into new clothes. Entering the bathroom, he held her in his arms and turned on the shower.

With a sigh, Alexander's body started to feel normal again. The heat left her body, and when she opened her eyes, Raven was staring at her pathetically.

He smiled reassuringly and said, "Do not worry princess, you are going to be fine." He then turned off the shower.

Raven gave her eyes a serious look, and as he did, a broad smile appeared on his lips. Her eyes were changing.

With her arms encircling her chest and a pink towel wrapped around it, she exclaimed, "Ravy, what is funny?" Am I being made fun of? She gave her brother a slight eyebrow raise while feigning a pout.

Glancing at her eyes, he remarked, "Never baby, it is just that your eyes are changing."

What was changing in her eyes, and how? Alexander thought mentally, walking towards the dressing mirror.

 *gasps*

Alexander gaped at what she saw; had she become jaundiced? Her once-beautiful hazel eyes had turned a pale yellow.

She approached Raven with trepidation, saying, "Oh my goodness...Ravy. How do I go to school on Monday?" and "how the hell did i get infected?"She opened her mouth to form the letter "O" and rested her palms on her cheeks.

..Infection? He looked at his sister in confusion, not sure what she was talking about.

"it isn't jaundice right?" she finally voiced her thought.

What? Raven erupted in laughter, amazed that she had truly considered that. Jaundice, nah.

He sat her on his lap and said, "It is just a normal change, Alexis." "My baby is becoming an adult," he winked at her, running his fingers through her hair.

 BAM!

Alexander shifted right on his laps...she was not much heavier, just slightly heavier than her human size. Grinning, Raven held the wolfs' claws. To settle her in, he moved into his Wolfie..

"Hello, Wolfie, my name is Ramiel," he said, setting the small wolf on his bed. "And you are?""

"My name is Kira," she repeated, beaming with happiness as she replied, "kira!!...".

With joy, Raphael assumed his human form again and mentally connected with his parents. When Queen Jessica saw her daughter's wolf, she sobbed uncontrollably because it was as gorgeous as her human form. It was truly a lovely sight..

Mother was receiving stern warnings from her father, "Jessy, that is enough tears already." Raphael sneered.Refusing to take his eyes off the little wolf, father was crying almost as much as he was acting irritated and mature..

"Ravy, ravy, ravyyyy...!" "Earth to surface brother," Alexander yelled, referring to her brother."

The flashback came to an end as Raven jolted..

She asked, continuously fluttering her long lashes, "Were you even listening?".

"I had all my attention on my baby girl," he said, cuddling her against his chest. "Of course I was..baby.""

Alexander carefully pulled away from his embrace..

She was not going to be sidetracked by the warmth and comfort his chest offered. "So...what was I saying?" she asked, wrapping her arms around her chest and giving him a cute little pout.

Raven gave a chuckle. He anticipated that she would ask that question. While searching another person's mind would be the best course of action, Alexander is not that kind of person. Kira, her Wolfie, possesses an enigmatic power that prevents anyone from reading her mind, even if they block her. However, she is also unable to mind-link other werewolves, meaning that it is possible to argue that she did not inherit the mind-linking trait.

"Hmmmm," Raven said, sulking at his sister as well. "Welll...my baby was telling me about how much she loves Ray and that she loves me more," he winked at her contented look. Her Ravy was listening the entire time as Alexander timidly flashed her neatly aligned teeth. Ramiel exclaimed, "You are really intelligent, are not you?" Raven boasted, "Unlike, you dumb Wolfie." Without paying attention to Alexander, he simply guessed at the answer to that question, and it turned out to be correct. Alexander has been chatting to him about Raymond, the new boy in her class, and she always ends it with "Do not worry, brother; I will always love you more—you are my shining ranger," said Ravy. Her stunning face, adorned with a broad smile, and her enchanting eyes, shimmering with light, light up her conversations about Raymond. What would happen if Raymond was not her mate? Ramiel enquired. The thought crossed Raven's mind; his little Angel will be devastated if that were to happen. "Ravy, are you not fond of my Ray?" His expression earlier must have caught her attention. "Oh no, sweetie..."I only hope he is your chosen mate. Mate?"Though she was not sure what that meant, she should keep praying that she was Raymond's mate since her brother had prayed for her.
