Laura’s need to inform Blake

Laura gazed anxiously out the guesthouse window at the brightening dawn, the red-orange hues chasing away the lingering night. The coast looked perfectly beautiful, bathed in the golden light.

She'd barely slept all night, her mind churning about recent events.

Ever since the ghost house experience in this beautiful Italian coastal town, with Jacqueline busy with her mysterious research trip on the other hand, Laura couldn't seem to shake off a feeling of dread.

She glanced over at Monique, still slumbering peacefully in her little cradle across the bedroom. But Laura was consumed by fears of unseen dangers lurking here that might threaten her young daughter.

She wandered restlessly into the rustically furnished living area downstairs, the walls seeming to close around her the longer she was confined to this place.
