Limit

"So it finally begins, the so called blood forest test."

Margret who had two tiny yellow objects floating around her head, said.

Mrs Taiyo stood up, faced the kids, before calling out to them.

"Gather around."

...

A minute later everyone had gathered around, Taking a deep breath, she began.

"I know you think that just because you have those cool abilities, there's nothing to fear." Looking at the doubtful faces on some kids, she knew she had hit the nail right on the heads. "Those abilities are cool and all, but if we encounter that cowboy or something dangerous you must run."

"What? Why? I know we can defeat anything or anyone if we do it together, with all this powers it would be a piece of cake." Liam refuted.

Looking at him, she curled her lips upward before continuing.

"See that that's what I'm talking about, what's your ability?

"Air ball."

"How many times can you use it, before you get tired or run out of energy?"

"I don't know."

"How fast can you cast it?"

"I haven't measured."

"What's it range?"

(..) this time he couldn't answer, he looked at Mrs Taiyo with a nervous smile, who instead of letting up she continued. "What's it level of damage?"

Scratching his head, he just stared at her not knowing what to answer.

"Where are you going with this?" Margret asked, her patience having ran out.

"The first thing we're gonna do before venturing in the forest is knowing each others abilities and their capabilities."

Alpha stared at Mrs Taiyo in a daze, he didn't know what to feel. Looking at her and some of his classmates, they all seemed to have adopted to this situation a little too fast. It almost looked like they had somehow done it before.

"You go first, after all you're the elder." Looking at her with suspicion, Margret said.

"You've already seen it, and I don't think it's a good idea to do it again." Trying not to remember what she had seen back in that room, Mrs Taiyo said.

"Did I miss something?" Margret was a bit confused, trying to remember when her teacher displayed her abilities and when. She couldn't even remember her leaving her original spot.

Everyone looked at her with doupts.

"I mean the light that flushed, the rooms that you saw, that was my ability."

"What? That was you? Does that mean you also gave us this abilities?" Margret asked in terror and reverence.

That's a scary ability Alpha lampooned, he too couldn't believe what he heard, if she gave them the abilities, why didn't she do it immediately after they arrived?

Murmurs amongst the kids filled the air as they tried to understand their teacher.

"I think you're mistaken, I didn't give you those abilities, just like me, you received them from whatever gave us. I only showed you how to activate them and I also did it accidentally." She answered after seeing their faces.

Alpha heaved a sigh of relief, if she was the one who gave them the abilities, then he couldn't tell what was gonna happen after. That aside, her power, aside from Dan's was the best he'd seen.

"Wow that's cool."

"What else can you do?"

Remarks and adorations from the kids rained down on her.

"I think that's the only thing it can do, for now."

"I'll go next " Margret said seemingly satisfied with the answer, she walked Infront of the group.

Touching the two tiny yellow balls that floated around her head, with which they immediately changed shapes, three meter long hands extended from the tiny balls grabbing two skulls and tossing them in the forest.

What the, what kind of ability is that? Alpha whispered as he watched her.

"That seems handy, like literally." Tony who stood next to Alpha commented.

"Yeah." Alpha answered.

After her display, everyone started displaying their abilities one by one.

From Mercy who could now make a fire in her hand, Liam with his air ball that was still not that impressive, to Billie who could manipulate roots.

Everyone had a unique ability with no repetition, from useless ones like growing to ones that terrified Alpha like low regeneration and pain Torrance.

It went on like that until it was Alpha's group turn.

"I'll go"Ciru said as she walked forward,. standing before everyone. She picked one skull up, rubbing it a few times, two jets of water that had enough force to shoot about five meters high, shot out on both of its eye sockets.

So she can adjust their force Alpha lampooned, as he walked forward, exchanging positions with Ciru.

He raised his hand up, as blue light flashed for a second.

After the light dimmed out, it revealed his hand which now held a well crafted black bow.

"What about the arrows?" Margret asked, surprised and somehow excited about his power.

"For now I can only create one thing at a time."

"Are you saying you can create everything you wish for." Billie asked.

"Not everything, there seems to be a limit."

"What else can you create?" Margret excitedly asked.

Alpha raised his hand once again, and the same blue light flashed. But this time his hand held the spear he had created first.

Everyone was surprised, but not by much, compared to all those abilities, his paled in comparison.

After the display he went back, giving Tony a green light.

Tony didn't linger when he got there, he shot upwards and circled them before landing.

They were all amazed, but having a flight ability, had drawn too much attention, so everyone already knew of it.

Now it was finally Dan's turn, the last of the bunch.

"I don't know my ability."
