Chapter 39 Breeder And Luna

"Would you dare to disobey the king's orders?" Olivia asked, her voice laced with a sense of urgency and frustration.

Despite her best efforts, she found it difficult to calm down.

Sherman, on the other hand, remained unmoved, his demeanor as unyielding as a stone.

No matter what she said or did, he always wore that inscrutable expression on his face that had worn her patience thin.

With a nonchalant shrug, Sherman replied, "As I have said before, I can wait until the war is over before fulfilling the king's orders. However, who knows when that will be?"

  Olivia's frustration boiled over.

"The king should never have agreed to that damn condition of yours!" she exclaimed, her teeth clenched as she recalled the last time she had stood in the Great Hall with Sherman.

"Please allow me to keep my breeder until Miss Olivia and I are married," Sherman had pleaded.
