Wild Mage's Awakening

This is my first time attempting to write a story so any and all feedback and ideas are welcome. Please leave any questions as well in the comments and I would be happy to answer. I wanted to make something high intensity that would keep readers on the edge of their seats but while I develop my ideas and skills I thought a slower story about someone with an interesting ability who is just trying to progress through the world at his own pace instead of aiming for some great revenge or to be the strongest ever would be more fun to write. Also just for fun I made his abilities truly random, even I dont know what spell Miles will use until I get to the point that he needs to use one. Then I pull up the random number generator and pick from my long and evolving list of random spells. Anyway thanks for taking the time to read!
