The Ogen Woods.

Before dawn while everyone is asleep, Amari wakes up and plans to leave without saying his goodbyes. He walks out and before he exists the gate. Safiya calls him.

''I had a feeling you would try to leave without saying goodbye.''

Amari smiles and looks at her.

''I just didn't want to see you cry again.''

''Well, I'm not going to!''

''Shhh... You'll wake everyone in the village up.''

''I was wondering where you were, Safiya said you'd leave early, but I didn't it would be this early.'' Isabel comes forth while holding a bag.

''Wow, I wasn't expecting you guys to see me leave.''

''I just wanted to give you some clothes and this...''

Isabel hands Amari the bag and gets out a dagger made of stone and hands it to him. This confuses Amari.

''Will I need this?''

''Trust me you will... The bag is filled with clothes for you to change, and that dagger you're holding is the only thing that I could get past the guards, since we aren't allowed to hand outsiders our weapons.''

''Thank You.''

Isabel nods and allows the two to have their goodbyes.

''Please be safe and careful of those men.''

''I can handle myself.''

''Also be careful in the Ogen Woods.''

''Ogen Woods?''

''I really thought you knew about this *sighs* I wonder how I survived with you. I won't explain much since it's about to be dawn. The Ogen Woods is where we fought that tiger, it's filled with the usual wild animals that are as big or even bigger than the tiger. And what's worse is that this region surrounded by the jungle so there's no way in or out without going through them.''

''Okay... thank you.''

''You... just be safe, okay?''

''Again, I can take care of myself.''

Amari starts walking and the two watch him as he gets further.

''Mother.''

''Yes?''

''I'm really worried.'' Safiya starts crying.

''He'll be okay.''

''How do you know?''

''I don't... I just have faith.''

After walking for a distance Amari finally reaches the Ogen Woods. He didn't expect it to look as massive as it looked. The trees were irregularly big, and the atmosphere was different from what he was used to. He scans the forest from left to right and it looks like an endless line of trees that cover the whole country.

Amari finally enters the forest. Other than the big trees it looks like no different from any other forest. Something felt strange to Amari when he got deeper in the woods. The path he walked from didn't seem visible anymore, and he was just surrounded by trees of the forest.

Amari suddenly starts hearing loud footsteps from different areas of the forest. He hears the roars of the animals that are close by. He pulls out his dagger to prepare himself for battle and walks with his arms up while scanning the area.

The ground starts rumbling beneath Amari. A snake strikes out with its mouth wide open and capable of swallowing Amari completely. Amari jumps out the way as quick as possible. Before he even landed on his feet a gorilla swings a slap that sends him flying. The gorilla then grabs the snakes head with both its hands.

The snake tries to escape by shaking its body but fails. Afterwards the snake attempts to surround the gorilla's lower body and legs so that it loses balance. The twists the body and head of the snake which results in it shrieking in agony. Purple venom starts coming out of the snake as it dies with its head separated from its body.

Amari ran the opposite direction leaving the two juggernauts fighting amongst themselves. He run at full speed to find a grizzly bear running in full speed in its direction. Amari decides to take it head on and runs to it with full confidence.

He uses the tree as leverage to jump and be on higher ground then the bear. The jumps towards him while swinging its claw, but before the hit lands he stabs the bear's hand and uses the sharp weapon while in the hand as way to make momentum for him jump over the slap of the bear. He barely dodges it.

He lands on the ground afterwards. Before the bear could react, Amari jumps on its back and starts stabbing it multiple times in different areas of its back. But the bear didn't seem to feel pain while being stabbed a numerous number of times. It tries to reach for its back to catch Amari, but it fails.

The gorilla from before comes and punches the bear's jaw loose, causing it to be knocked out cold. The gorilla than attempts to catch Amari but he jumps on its arm and runs towards its face. He tries to stab the gorilla's arms while running but it has too thick of skin to hurt it.

The gorilla starts to get annoyed while trying crush Amari. He jumps to its face and stabs one of its eyes. The gorilla gets furious and starts going berserk and starts slapping its face to remove Amari, but he quickly jumps on top of its head to dodge it.

While the gorilla is jumping around and roaring in pain, Amari is still stabbing the gorilla's forehead. It finally grabs Amari with both of its hands and throw him on the ground and starts vigorously punching him creating a whole on the.

The bear rejoins the fight and tackles the gorilla, and they start fighting at one side. Amari finally stands up and realizes that he has kill these two beasts before they kill him. He starts running towards the two and joins the fight between the two, he aims for the bear as he sees it as more of a threat.

The bear punches the gorilla while on top of it. Amari takes the chance a while the bear is distracted and jumps on the back of it and runs to its neck. He stabs its neck and keeps the weapon in the neck and drags it through the head of the bear. The bear screams in agony.

The gorilla takes its chance rips the lose jaw of the bear's mouth and the mouth shreds along with the skin down the bear's belly. Amari jumps at the gorilla's face and aims for the other eye. He lands the blow at the eye of the gorilla, and it goes crazy for the second time as it cries in agony. It starts to aimlessly swing its arms around indicating frustration.

Amari decides to stab it in different areas of its neck. It starts hurting itself by trying to defend itself against the slashes but can't anticipate Amari's and can only follow the pain the slashes left on his body. It starts losing a lot of blood and bumps into a tree. It lies on the ground kicking and screaming like a baby while being sliced by Amari. Amari delivers the final blow where he stabs the gorilla in the middle of the forehead. And that finally kills it.

Immediately after killing the gorilla Amari hears howling and running from a distance, it sounded like a pack of them. Not only that but he hears lions, jaguars, spiders and other wild jungle predators. They were all heading for Amari.

...

Amari went for days and nights without any sleep fighting these gigantic monsters. He would kill some and more would appear, there were all kinds of different species that he fought, even the ones that could fly.

After months of nothing but fighting, his body was beyond its limit and at that point it wasn't conscious that it was fighting. Without any memory he found himself outside the Ogen Woods, he was still clutching on the dagger with the shirt he clothes he was gifted in Oruba were shredded and full of blood everywhere. He knew he wasn't there anymore because he could hear the sound of the streaming river and the chatter of humans.

He walked to the river since he was desperate for water. When he finally arrives at the river, he shoves his head in the water and drinks the water, he drinks to the point to where he drowns himself without realizing. When he was done, he fell asleep next to the river.
