Ryan regretted the comment he had made about Daemon and his love life. So what if he had Cynthia Harsh stay at Green Industries, now changed to Green Peak, to help Evelyn manage the company? So what if one was kind of like an ex, and the other was his actual fiancee and the mother of his son?

Now he had shot himself in the foot, and he could not even find anyone to cry to.

He looked at Dinaia who was obviously waiting for him to come clean about his past, and his face almost contorted in a rictus that many would have never expected of the elegant CEO Hart. Fortunately, he suppressed it, only letting his wry smile grow a little to show his discomfort and satisfy his dissatisfied girlfriend.

He took a deep breath, and finally did what he had to. He spoke:

"Well, Dina, there are no exes to talk about… I have never had girlfriends in the truest sense."

"So you have had some in the falsest sense of the word?"
