Dinaia inhaled, and turned back to face the affection in Ryan's soft smile. She glared at her boyfriend, but she did so too softly to cause any damage, only making his smile wider, and turn more affectionate.

She turned a blind eye to Ryan's reaction and questioned, fully intent on understanding what the matter was about. She could not just let go of what Evelyn seemed to hold dear, nor forget that Ryan just lied to her:

"What do you mean by 'it is dangerous'?"

Ryan looked at Dinaia, and seeing the stubborn light in the depth of her eyes, and he sighed to himself, before he spoke to reply to her:

"Daemon's origin seems not to be simple. Digging into it is a thankless job that requires too much effort for little results, and it could put anyone involved into danger."
