Evelyn swallowed the ice cream in her mouth and diverted Dinaia's attention:
"Anyway, you owe me. And I promised Jason to have you compensate him too, for taking me away from him. As for Daemon, because of you, I will have to make more effort in the coming days to pay up the debt."
Dinaia was taken aback, before she smiled:
"Alright, I owe you. Now take care of that paper about to fall from your pocket. Is it from the check-up at the hospital?"
Evelyn lowered her head in alarm, and pulled out the piece of paper halfway out of her pocket. She sighed in relief, and opened her bag to put the document away.
Her actions and the importance she seemed to attach to the folded paper got Dinaia curious:
"Is something the matter? Did the check-up reveal anything?"
