My science makes me OP in another world

[ scene : Colt and Luna are sitting under a tree, watching the sea]

Colt [in a soft, calm tone] : "You know.. these past few weeks… living here with you, it's been a part of heaven, thank you Luna... for being with me."

Luna [ smiles] : "What's this all of a sudden?"

Colt [pulling Luna closer] : "Oh, it's nothing... just wanted you to know how I feel is all."

Just wanted you to know how I feel… when was the last time I did that?

When I said "I love you" I think… it maybe was the first time... at first, I didn't need anyone… I could do it alone... but now, I don't think I can live without Luna. Or my family for that matter. I … don't know when it happened… but, I grew attached… even weirder… I'm happy about it… happy-

Luna : "What are you thinking about right now?"

Colt : "I was just thinking I can't live without you."

Luna : "I can't live without you either."

*After a while of silence and bliss*

*Colt and Luna speaking at the same time*

Colt, Luna : "I have something to tell you."

Colt : "No... you go... I insist."

Luna[a bit saddened and concerned] : "You were so happy… I didn't know how to tell you… but when I heard you say that you couldn't live without me… I can't hide it any longer."

Hide what exactly? Now I'm scared... was her family opposing to this?... no, they seemed happy about it… what else is there?

Luna : "The map you have… it's wrong."

Colt [relief] :"The map?!! *breathes a sigh of relief* for a second there I thought…why do you say that?"

Luna : "I don't know who sold you a map this big but they lied to you… I mean… there is a third continent in it… we only have two."

Colt [confused yet calm] : "What?"

This map was obtained via satellite … *internal gasp* wait… no wonder I never heard about it… they don't know a third continent exists!!! I wonder why?

Colt : "Are you telling me… you don't know about the third continent?"

Luna : "There is no third continent."

Oh my… she doesn't… I guess I'll play Columbus now.

Colt : "For starters, my Luna, no one sold me this map, I made it myself… and I assure you… the third continent is as real as us."

Luna : "Then, how come we've never heard about it?"

Colt : "I'd like to know that myself… actually, it's what I wanted to tell you… I want to go explore it."

Luna [suddenly getting clingy, clings to him with tears in her eyes] : "Why? It's too dangerous… you said you were happy… why do you want to leave?"

That's a reaction I didn't expect .. she always acts so mature… like she's the wiser one… I guess we all have weaknesses… and I love her even more for it.

Colt [hugs Luna and starts gently stroking her hair] : "It's because I am so happy… I wanted to ask if you would come with me… I want to do it with you… it's just… I wonder what I could find."

I mean, the wasteland continent was a treasure of minerals… and now I find another continent… can you imagine how exciting this is? Who in their right mind wouldn't go?

Luna [calming down a bit] : "You mean I can go with you?"

Colt : "Wouldn't have it any other way."
