Chapter 59: Griffin's POV Uninvited Guests

Griffin sighed with relief as he took Angela in his arms, grateful for her change of attitude. Agent Jenkins gave him a curt nod and slipped out of the room, giving them their privacy. Burying his nose in her hair, Griffin held Angela tightly, his mind whirring. While Angela had every right to be suspicious of Cookie, especially after the way his mother had treated her, Griffin didn’t believe his mother had kidnapped Rory. At the very least, it went against her manipulative nature.
