Evergreen vs. Abyss

The Ancient Supreme had made the first move with just its words. The Ancient Abyssal language naturally held the power of corruption, but in the hands of this specific ancient, it could end life easily. Yet, fortunately for this Primeval beast, it was blessed by the gods.

When Evergreen was first born, so were its gods. They weren't like newborns, of course, but they did have a lot to learn. So when life began to form on Evergreen, the gods blessed all born on their world back in primeval times. They didn't know that divine energy was not expendable, but they learned quickly that all life was not to be blessed but instead the world should be nurtured to create more life, which in turn will produce more divine energy for them.

Still during their period of slight naivety, the first beings to be born on Evergreen, which were mostly and nearly only Primeval beasts, were bestowed with ridiculous blessings or multiple blessings. The kraken was one of them.

The kraken was about to unleash its wrath, but suddenly the devil vanished.

The kraken knew its aggressor didn't really vanish, he just fled into the sky at a speed even it could barely catch.

This was because the supreme's instincts caused it to naturally make this movement.

There was a horizontal tornado in the distance, about three kilometers away. This was due to an attack unleashed by an assailant yet to be revealed.

The devil still couldn't see where the enemy was, but it soon heard a voice.

"Oh, I see you guys listened to that knucklehead Fist maniac. You're definitely stronger than that supreme that came prior to your armies."

As these words lingered in the air, an individual stepped out of the plain air itself leaving the Ancient devil baffled.

It thought "Where in the abyss did this human come from?"

This figure held a simple spear that had a golden dragon crafted on it in his hand, and a white robe embroidered with golden dragons.

This spear was simple, but to the devil it seemed to be the pillar for the heavens and the earth.

As his words lingered, the devil stared at the spear, it suddenly felt a sharp pain in its eyes, and one of them burst open.

....

One of the Ancient devils was guarding the world gate. This was the maniacal female devil, Sinvanganza.

She wasn't like most devils. She wasn't lanky, nor did she have dark red skin or black skin.

She had two normal bloody red eyes, and a black one on her forehead. Two more were sitting in the air behind where she was sitting. They were foot sized and black, as they sat in the air like a normal pair of eyes.

She had blood red hair, and light pink skin.

She sat on a chair made of her abyssal aura, with her legs crossed, and her blood red eyes staring ahead in a daze.

She reveled in the carnage she witnessed, as she could see almost every where there was a devil. Her special abilities revolved around sight, and she attached a slither of her abyssal aura onto every devil that was below the supremes. She enjoyed watching carnage and torture just as much as she liked to inflict it.

She wasn't always like this, this crazy kink came over time as she grew older, stronger, and most importantly bored out of her mind within the abyss. This was why she loved to leave the abyss whenever the opportunity came, she loved to witness what the devils did to worlds.

Coincidentally she had the same thirst for confrontation with those stronger than her, as the venerable ones, so she decided to be the one to guard the gate and wait on a challenge.

Lucky for her that thirst would be satisfied in the next moment.

She snapped out of her daze and snapped her head in a certain direction. She reacted like this because she felt pressure, extreme pressure coming from that direction. Initially she didn't see anything, but when she blinked she saw a man in strange baggy clothes.

This man was walking towards her, and she had no idea where he had come from.

He was initially far away, but every time she blinked he was half the distance closer to her, until they were about one hundred and twenty meters apart.

She stared at him in silence while squinting.

He just smiled as he stared into her eyes, before he coolly said "Good, good, I didn't think that pip squeak would actually relay my message. You guys actually sent many foes worthy of my fists, and who knew a devil could be so alluring."

She grinned charmingly, before cracking up laughing. She laughed so hard, she had to hold her stomach while pointing at him.

This continued for a couple of breaths before she spoke.

"I like you, such an attitude for a little human like you must be backed up by your fist. Shall we see who will bleed the most? That's a contest I like to partake in." She said as her energy slowly oozed out of her.

He responded with a cool but serious tone, "I honestly could have broken a couple of bones before you noticed me, but I'm not fond of sneak attacking a worthy opponent, especially a female at that."

He continued "But I haven't bled since my spar with the sword god a century ago, I kind of miss the sight of my own blood, I'd like to partake in this contest of yours".

She smirked and was about to respond but her head was bashed before she could.

Her personal chair she made shattered like glass, as she was flung out of the air by the impact of that blow. She smashed into the island below the world gate where this same venerable annihilated their scout army.

When the dust cloud cleared up, she was already on her feet walking out of the dust cloud.

She wiped the blood off of her mouth and looked at it before looking up into the Fist venerable's eyes and saying "Wheeeew, I think I'm getting aroused from my own blood, since I haven't seen it in ten thousand years, maybe you might earn a reward from drawing first blood. That's if you can survive."

She was already in front of him before her words finished, swiping with extended claws.
