Antonio's Busy Night with Shopping Bags & Social Media

"Welcome back, Young Masters!"

Butler Carlson and the maids lined up to welcome Alden and Antonio.

It was already nearing seven o'clock in the evening when the Legaspi brothers arrived back in their residence.

Antonio smiled at them as he walked to go inside their mansion.

Alden followed behind him and handed a car fob key to Butler Carlson, who accepted it without questions.

"Bring all of the shopping bags to Yoyo's room."

He instructed their family butler and the maids before walking inside.

Carlson and the maids immediately headed to Alden's car and sighed when they saw the amount of shopping bags inside the car.

Meanwhile, inside the mansion, both Alden and Antonio headed toward the dining room.

They intentionally came back around this time so that they can have a family dinner together.

Antonio sat on the seat at the right side of the head of the table, his designated seat since he was still a toddler.

On the other hand, Alden sat opposite from him, to a seat that their mother always sat on when she was still alive.

This has become his regular spot after their mother passed away.

The maids and manservants are currently busy placing the dishes on the table from the kitchen so Alden orders a manservant to call their father.

Antonio looked at the delicacies in front of him and salivated after inhaling their aroma.

'When will I be allowed to eat that?'

He pouted as he stared at the steak and the grilled pork chop.

Alden and the others who happened to see him pouting while looking at some dishes, felt their heart aching with pity for him.

'Ahh!! Young Master Yoyo looked so sad.'

'Young Master Yoyo … I'll pray for your full recovery every night starting now.'

'Kyaaahh! Young Master Yoyo … is very cute.'

The maids and manservants have varying thoughts as they peeked at Antonio.

Christopher entered the dining room at that moment and the servants greeted him immediately with a bow.

He sat on the chair at the head of the table.

He glanced at Antonio before peeking at Alden.

He can't help but feel bitter that his two sons spend time together for a whole day without him.

However, he decided to just let it slide when he saw the visible satisfaction on the faces of the two brothers.

He doesn't even need to ask anymore if they enjoyed their bonding since their bright expressions already give away the answer.

His lips slowly curved into a smile as he felt good to see that his sons have a good relationship with one another.

"Let's eat."

He announced and the Legaspi family began their family dinner.

. . .

Antonio is now inside his room.

After their dinner, he immediately went to his room and took a shower.

Then he decided to wear a gray colored pair of silk pajamas.

However, instead of sleeping, he stared at the shopping bags inside his room and then sighed.

"There are plenty of them."

He muttered as he grabbed one of them and started opening it.

"Oh?"

He can't help but be surprised at what he is seeing right now.

He stared blankly at the sets of hair pins, hair ties, and head bands in his hands.

"Hmm? Why are these here? I don't remember buying them though?"

He quietly mumbled before remembering what happened this afternoon.

Earlier, after they left Yuji's store, they had lunch in a restaurant before strolling around Hermania City.

They went to different stores and one of them is an accessory shop.

There, he looked around and saw some hairpins and headbands.

He thought that it was cute so he held them in his hands for a while before putting it back on its shelf.

Alden asked him a question while looking at the hairpins.

"Do you like them?"

Antonio was about to answer no, but then he saw a saleslady near them so he just answered vaguely.

"Oh … they are pretty."

Sigh.

'I didn't know that Brother Al bought them just because I said that they are pretty.'

He sighed as he put them down and grabbed another shopping bag.

He smiled when he saw the logo of the shopping bag.

FujiTek Gadgets.

He took the two boxes inside the bag and opened them.

The first box he opened revealed a dark metallic blue phone.

It was the phone that he picked on the ground floor of Yuji's store.

He set it aside before enthusiastically opening the second box.

A wide grin formed on his face as he raised it in the air.

It is an electric blue phone that Yuji gave to him on the second floor.

This is a limited edition phone that hasn't been released yet.

According to Yuji, the FujiTek Company will release only thirty of this model next month.

He liked this one more than the one he chose on the ground floor.

The reason is because it has much better specs compared to the other one.

'This is three times better than the first one … I should thank Brother Yuji again later.'

He thought as he proceeded to open another shopping bag.

After almost two hours, he sighed after he finished opening all of the items from their bags.

In addition to the gadgets he received from Yuji and the hair accessories, there are a pair of expensive shoes from a brand called Giccu, a luxury men's bag with a Parda brand, a Rollex watch, and other items that Alden bought just because Antonio touch, hold, or stare at them.

'Their brands are like twins of the popular brands from my past life … identical with different names.'

He thought while standing up to neatly place the items on where they should belong.

He put the gadgets on top of his study table.

For the shoes, hair accessories, and other items they bought, he placed them on their rightful shelves inside the walk-in closet.

He then went to his large bed with two phones and a laptop.

He turned them on and did the thing that he wanted the most.

Social media.

'Facelook? In my past world, it's called Facebook.'

He thought to himself while clicking the app with an f logo.

'We should have the same password, right?'

He pondered as he inputs his past life's e-mail address and password to the Facelook app.

He sighed in relief when it logged in successfully.

'Hmm?'

His eyes almost went out of their sockets when he saw the number of messages, friend requests, and notifications he had in the app.

He is quite popular in his past life because of his attitude, intelligence, and neat look … but not this kind of popular.

Hundred messages, thousands of friend requests, and thousands of notifications.

"Wow."

He can't help but be shocked at the popularity of this world's Antonio.

He pressed the home button after calming down from shock and then looked for another social media app.

Again, the app has a different name from the one he knew in his past world.

The Instagram he knew became an app called Stargram in this world.

He opened the app and entered his email and password from his past life to log in.

It also logged in successfully.

He inhaled and exhaled for quite a while to prepare himself to witness another ridiculous amount.

"Huh?"

His eyebrow arched when he saw the digits of his followers and the content in his account.

There are over five hundred thousand followers which is not that surprising for him.

As a well-known author in his past life, his followers reached over five million in numbers.

The thing that surprised him though is that the account has that number of followers when he only has one post.

A profile picture for the account … that's the only post his Stargram account had.

'What's up with the people in this world? What if this account belongs to an impersonator?'

He bewilderingly thought while staring at his phone.

He then turned it off when he felt that he was getting stressed because of it.

He reached toward his other gadgets and logged in his email and password to each of them.

'There! All the devices are linked to my account.'

He smiled in satisfaction before staring at his two phones.

"This one will be my main phone."

He muttered while pointing to the electric blue limited edition phone that hasn't been released to the public yet.

"And this one will be for my … hmmm … I wonder where I should use this?"

He said as he stared at the dark metallic blue colored phone.

'Let's keep it for now.'

He thought as he prepared himself to go to sleep.

. . .

*Ring* *ring*

Antonio woke up from his sleep when he heard his alarm going off.

He reached toward the bedside table and turned it off.

"Oh?"

He uttered as he saw today's date in the calendar.

February 14, 3024.

'Today is Valentine's Day.'

He thought and then remembered something important.

Yesterday, there's not much going on if he were to describe it.

He just did his routine exercise with Dr. Lordan and then stayed at home the whole day.

Alden went out early in the morning yesterday to go to their company as he has a full schedule of work that can't be canceled because of their importance.

Meanwhile, Christopher stayed in the mansion to accompany him but his secretary called him in the afternoon because there's an emergency.

Christopher didn't leave the mansion for the sake of Antonio, however, he became busy holding an online emergency meeting with the directors of his company.

Antonio didn't want to disturb his father so he just stayed in his room and watched some movies.

Then later in the evening, when they were having dinner, Alden, who just came back, said that he will be busy for the next two days with company matters.

Antonio also found out that his father will be having an important meeting with one of their business partners.

He felt disappointed upon knowing that he can't spend the day with his family on a special day.

However, he just later went to his bed and accepted it while understanding his family's work.

But before he could go to sleep, Christopher entered his room and told him to go with him to the lunch meeting.

That's why right now, he happily went to the garden behind their mansion and completed his routine exercise with Dr. Lordan monitoring him.

After that, he went to eat breakfast with only his father since Alden already went to work.

"Are you sure that you're really going to take me with you, Dad?"

Antonio asked Christopher as he felt worried that if he made a mistake, it would have a negative effect on their business.

"I heard that it was a very important meeting."

That's what he heard from Dr. Lordan.

Christopher stared at him with a soft gaze before patting his head.

He knew what his son was worried about, so he answered.

"Yes, it's final that you'll be coming with me later. … However, you don't need to worry about anything since we'll be meeting a long time friend of mine."

He observed his son's facial expression and smiled when he saw that he seemed to have relaxed his mind already.

"He was supposed to meet with your brother three days ago to talk about some minor business matters … but your brother ditched him when he got a call that you woke up."

Christopher explained to Antonio and then he paused as if he remembered something.

"Ah! I think you already met him before as well as his son … was his name Michael or Marshal? ... Anyway, the Grimmer family."

He said as he looked at the confused expression on his son's face.

"Hmm? The family name sounds familiar but I don't remember meeting them."

Antonio replied as he tried to dig in his memories yet no matter how hard he tried, he can't remember them.

Christopher gazed at his son with a sad smile.

"Well, you're only seven at that time so don't worry if you don't remember them."

He said to Antonio with a reassuring smile on his face before his mind continued what he couldn't say out loud.

'You can't remember them because the day you met them is the day you lost your mother … and the day that you kept crying while muttering that everything isn't real.'

Antonio can't remember a lot of things that happened on that day because …

'It was so painful for him that he couldn't bear it and … resorted to forcing himself to forget about it.'

That's what Dr. Lordan told him.
