Part 73: River Harbor

We walked alongside the river, our path alternating between firm ground and patches of waterlogged terrain. The soggy ground proved challenging, our feet sinking into the mud as we struggled to keep our balance. Despite the difficulties, Mother Miranda’s determination kept us moving forward. With her leading the way, we managed to navigate the water-covered land without too much trouble.

Eventually, we arrived at a harbor, its structure surprisingly well-built despite the overgrown surroundings. Several boats were moored nearby, and a few wooden huts dotted the area. We inspected the boats, most of which were in disrepair, their hulls cracked and engines rusted. However, one soldier pointed out a boat that seemed to be in relatively good condition.

"We can repair this one," the soldier suggested, examining the boat closely.

Captain Lee nodded in agreement. "Alright, get to work," he said, authorizing the repair efforts.
