85: Bloodline Cultivation
His grandfather, his father, and all of Silver's brothers had either an Advanced Bloodline Talent or a Legendary Bloodline Talent.

To understand why he was looked down upon by his brothers and also other family members, one had to understand the implications of one's bloodline talent.
To put it in simple terms, one's bloodline talent determines their future cultivation level and potential.
One should not forget that having between one to ten gates (1 to 10 gates) was a Basic Talent.
Eleven to Twenty Gates (11 to 20 Gates) was an Intermediate Talent.
Twenty-one to Thirty Gates (21-30 Gates) was an Advanced Talent.
Thirty-one to Thirty two Gates (31 to 32 Gates) was a Legendary Talent.
And, Thirty-Three Gates was a Myth.
However, the exact number of gates one had as a ten year old was crucial and was used to determine the sub-grades of each talent.
To understand this, one had to first know the ten cultivation realms of Nirvania.
When a person first embarks on their cultivation journey, whether it is Bloodline Cultivation, Magi Cultivation, or Martial Cultivation, the person is called an Initiate.
When a person breaks through, they are no longer called an Initiate but a Novice.
From a Novice, one becomes an Adept.
From an Adept, one becomes an Elder.
From an Elder, one becomes a Grandmaster.
From a Grandmaster, one becomes a Sage.
From a Sage, one becomes a Lord.
From a Lord, one becomes a King.
From a King, one becomes an Emperor.
And from an Emperor, one becomes a god.
To now understand why the exact number of bloodline gates a bloodline cultivator had was important, one should first know that to advance from one realm to another realm requires one to open a certain number of bloodline gates.
To become an Initiate, one had to open a single bloodline gate as a Bloodline Cultivator.
To become a Novice, one had to open four (4) bloodline gates.
To become an Adept, one had to open seven (7) bloodline gates.
To become an Elder, one had to open eleven (11) bloodline gates.
To become a Grandmaster, one had to open sixteen (16) bloodline gates.
To become a Sage, one had to open twenty-one (21) bloodline gates.
To become a Lord, one had to open twenty-six (26) bloodline gates.
To become a King, one had to open thirty-one (31) bloodline gates.
To become an Emperor, one had to open thirty-two (32) bloodline gates.
To become a god, one had to open thirty-three (33) bloodline gates.
When one knew all of these, one could infer why one's bloodline talent was very important as a Bloodline Cultivator.
Somebody with a Basic Talent could never become an Elder.
Somebody with an Intermediate Talent could never become a Sage.
Somebody with an Advanced Talent could never become a King or an Emperor.
And somebody with a Legendary talent could never become a god. However, having 33 bloodline gates at the age of ten was a myth and was something that had never happened before.
From what Silver read, the past gods and goddesses were not born with 33 bloodline gates but they got their thirty-third bloodline gate as they grew and advanced in their cultivations.
Silver did not know if this statement nor did he really care since it was not going to help him in any way possible.

Now coming back to why Silver was extremely baffled regarding the poison from the snake that should have killed him.
The main reason why Silver was baffled over the poison of the snake was related to his bloodline- The Morningstar Bloodline.
The Morningstars and the nine noble families each had their respective bloodlines, and to be honest, the Morningstar bloodline was less impressive compared to the bloodlines of the nine noble families.
The number one noble family, The Agriad family which was the second most powerful family in all of Sparta, had a bloodline that allowed them to summon their family's ancestral spirits or even other spirits for guidance, day-to-day activities, or for battles.
The number two noble family, the Artheus family which was the family of Commander Artheus Kael, had a bloodline called Leonine Valor. This allowed them to possess a nearly unbreakable spirit and immense courage in battle. They can also inspire nearby allies to fight with greater fervor and resilience, increasing their strength and morale.
The number three family, the Proclide family was the family of Lord Zephyr Proclide who saved Corey from death when his step-brother, Nathaniel almost slapped him to death. The Proclide bloodline made one to be extremely talented with the spear. Their connection and talent with the spear was one of the best if not the best in the whole of Nirvania.
The number four family, the Meltas family had a bloodline that gave them the ability to control and manipulate the earth. Due to their bloodline, they were in charge of the Great Wall of Sparta.
The number five family, the Anaitis family had a bloodline that gave them Ancient Wisdom and understanding. They could understand the strangest of runes and even languages. They were one of the best when it came to formations, arrays, and the likes in the whole world, and Silver even had rumors that the Anaitis bloodline could even allow one to communicate with the world and understand it more.
When Silver heard this from his mother, he did not know what it meant and when he asked her, she just told him that such information was too much for his little brain.
He was dissatisfied, but what could he do? Force his mother?
He didn't have a death wish.
Back to the Anaitis family.
It was because of their immense talent with formations and arrays that the Anaitis family was in charge of every array and formation in Sparta.
The number six family, the Scironides family had a bloodline that gave them the ability to control the sea and also sea creatures. They were also stronger the closer they were to the sea.
They could not control and manipulate water. They could only control the sea. It was also because of their bloodline that the Scironides family was in charge of the sea close to Sparta.
The number seven family, the Sciritae family, had a bloodline that allowed them to walk in the shadows, and teleport from one shadow to another, and they also had night vision.
It was not known to the public, but the upper echelons knew that the Sciritae family was a family of assassins that only took orders from the King. They were the King's loyal servants.
The number eight family, the Dorieus family, had a bloodline that allowed a member of the family to sense and communicate with another member of the Dorieus family over very long distances.
Silver did not know how long, but what his mother told him was that it was really really long. They were also in charge of gathering information around Sparta.
The number nine family, the Demeter family, whose family head was Eris Demeter, had a bloodline that allowed them to foresee the future.
Although the Demeter family was the last ranked family and also the family with the least number of members, they were fiercely protected and revered due to their bloodline ability.
As for the Morningstar family, their bloodline ability was Regeneration.
Their regeneratiion ability did not give the Morningstars the ability to regenerate detached limbs, life-threatening injuries, or even their detached heads at the early stages of cultivation.
But when a Morningstar became a Sage, Lord, King, or even Emperor, their regeneration abilities completely changes and becomes totally absurd and even heaven defying.
Silver's grandfather, Abel Morningstar, was a King, and his horrifying regenerative abilities was what made him one of the strongest individuals of the North.

Silver could feel that his bloodline was still dormant and it had not been activated due to everything he went through, and this baffled him.
"If my bloodline is still dormant, then why didn't I die when I got poisoned?"
Silver mumbled as he ate the last fruit on the golden tree.
He didn't know why, but the more he ate, the less satisfied and more hungry he felt. This was already his tenth golden fruit and he knew he should have felt full after eating ten fruits.
However, he wasn't full at all.
Soon, he finished eating the tenth fruit and he became thirsty just like when he had eaten the previous fruits. He scooped a handful of the golden pool and drank till he felt satisfied.
He released a satisfied sigh, and to his surprise, he suddenly felt drowsy.
"Fuck."
He tried to resist it, but he couldn't resist the desire to sleep and he instantly succumbed to this desire.
Snore!
Silver started snoring with a peaceful expression.
