Chapter 049: To the Battlefield Again

"According to the latest information, the Iwagakure and Kirigakure have begun a secret assembly of ninjas, and the old man is even preparing to order Jiraiya to come back." Tsunade explained. 

"Iwagakure and Kirigakure?" He thought of something but didn't dare mention it directly without any proof or basis. 

"Are they preparing to attack Konoha?" Asahi asked heavily. 

Now the battle between Konoha and Sunagakure was very tight. If these other two villages take the opportunity to intervene, they would have to face a second line of battle, which was not good news for them. 

And once these other villages join the battle, Kumogakure would certainly not let go of the opportunity to bite Konoha. Once they're caught in the scene of being besieged by the Four Great Ninja Villages, with the current strength of Konoha, they would probably be destroyed.

Although from the perspective of the original book, Konoha had won and held advantages in certain battles during the Second Great Ninja War and the Third Great Ninja War, but who could be sure that history will not change?

Although the academy also teaches some history courses, these kind of things were not written in textbooks. 

"That's what Orochimaru-sama said." Asahi without the slightest hesitation used Orochimaru's name to cover up for him, "I had a conversation with him while at the battle camp, and Orochimaru-sama talked about it." 

"You have a good relationship with Orochimaru?" Tsunade said lightly with a snort. 

"Orochimaru-sama doesn't seems to be exactly… giving any good vibes. He was the one to talk to me, but I personally don't like him." Asahi swears that this sentence was absolutely true.

"Humph! You even dare to say that about Orochimaru." Tsunade's mood got better after hearing his words, and patted his small shoulder while saying, "Don't keep much contact with Orochimaru in the future, that guy is too dark, don't learn from him." 

"Understood!" He nodded, "Orochimaru-sama is indeed a little dark."
