"Having fun?" Heath said, cocking his perfectly carved brows as a broad smile beamed on his face.
"Yes," I replied. My voice was low yet audible as I slowly walked on the sandy beach with my bare feet and my slippers in my hands.
"I knew you'd love it." He smiled, a feeling of satisfaction tinged in his voice. He brought my hands to his as he intertwined them as we both walked on the empty beach, with only the sound of the waves and seagulls flying above the ocean.
Today marks a week after the incident at the mansion, yet my life living with the Cullen family only continued like a normal life.
