CHAPTER 103

  Eden's POV

Standing at the door by Elissa, we both noticed the sunlight that filtered through the curtains, I found myself leaving her side to sit on the floor of our humble room by Noah's side, surrounded by an array of colorful building blocks. With each piece I carefully placed, I constructed a tower that seemed to defy the laws of physics, much to the delight of my young companion, Noah.

"Look at that, Noah," I rumbled, my voice deep with amusement. "This tower might just touch the sky today."

Noah's eyes, a captivating blend of Elissa's and mine, shimmered with wonder. "Tall, trees, Dada... tall" he tried to make proper sentences.

I couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm. "Higher than the trees, my boy."
