CHAPTER TWENTY THREE
"Ack! Quick check which restaurants they went to." Xian Yanqi said a little anxious.
Luna took out a quantum computer and began typing on it at a fast speed, while Xian Yanqi's head was glued to her head and his eyes glued to the screen.
"Gasp! Dad, Mom, were you stalking us?!" Xian Weiwei exclaimed in shock seeing her mother trace Xian Sining's location with familiarity.
"What nonsense. As a royal member your safety are priorities." Xian Wanqi rebuked righteously not feeling any guilt at all.
"Dad!" Xian Weiwei was stunned by her father's shamelessness. She knew he was shameless but not this shameless!
Once they got the location, Luna put back the quantum computer into her space button before looking at the stunned Xian Weiwei with innocence written all over her face. The words Xian Weiwei wanted to say got stuck in her throat, she couldn't bear to criticise her mother looking at her with innocent eyes.
While Xian Weiwei was still in a dilemma, Xian Wanqi turned to Xian Weiwei and then smiled.
"Well, you can go back now. We will see you at the palace." Xian Wanqi said pulling Luna along with him as they dashed away.
Xian Weiwei came to her senses after they had disappeared. She screamed in frustration after noticing she had been tricked by her mother again. Luna looked innocent and charming but Xian Weiwei was well aware that she was more blackbellied than her husband.

The day of resume finally came, An Ke'an stood in front of the mirror checking again if her dress was alright. She felt nervous and excited for the fact that her future was going to be different from the past.
An Ke'an was putting on a stripped royal purple shirt, the shirt wasn't buttoned and she was wearing a white tube singlet and a light purple bum shorts inside it, paired with white sneakers. Her hair was styled into a headband ponytail, with the ponytail was plaited with purple ribbons. She looked extremely cute and beautiful.
An Ke'an eyes fell on her makeup box, after hesitating for a long time, she gave up and took a lip balm. She was extremely traumatised by her makeup skills, even during her missions she never wore them except if a professional did it for her.
After applying her lip balm, An Ke'an felt satisfied. She took her white backpack and proceeded downstairs, even though she had a space button, she rarely used it and prefer taking her bag to gain a sense of fashion.
Xiao bai who had regained its huge appearance stopped An Ke'an from leaving. Ever since it woke up, it has been clinging to An Ke'an.
"There is no way I'm taking you to school with that huge size of yours." An Ke'an said to him folding her arms.
Though Xiao bai had learnt to shrink itself it still prefer to be in its huge size.
Xiao bai felt a little depressed, being in that small size doesn't bring out its majesty at all.
An Ke'an was going to be in school for a whole year and shrinking its size won't be comfortable.
"You can always stay in the space. But you are not allowed to eat those herbs." An Ke'an glared at Xiao bai angrily. The last time she threw him into her space, he ate one-third of her herbs.
Xiao bai smiled flattering her, though anyone who saw the smile would be scared sh*tless. Adjusting it size, Xiao bai laid on An Ke'an's head and they both left the An planet locking it from outsiders.
Arriving at imperial senior college, An Ke'an went to register and find her dorm. She had a double dorm along with Gia. She wanted to have an apartment all to herself but it wasn't allowed unless she was in her second year, so she had no choice than to stay with Gia in a dorm. Seeing that Gia hadn't arrived, An Ke'an called her but she didn't pick her call.
Checking Gia's location, she went to look for her. Arriving at the Mecha building department, An Ke'an saw Gia in a crowd of people. She went and pulled her out, Gia wanted to resist but seeing it was An Ke'an she didn't.
"Ah, An'an. How do I look?" Gia asked as she twirled around.
She was putting on a white dress summer dress with strawberry pattern on it.
"Beautiful." An Ke'an answered smiling.
"Hehe." Gia giggled feeling happy by her compliment.
"What happened?" An Ke'an asking looking at the crowded place.
"Tsk, tsk. You won't believe what happened. Do you know that the He family broke off their engagement with the Harry?" Gia said smiling from ear to ear. If the He family breaks off their engagement, An Ke'an will have a chance.
"What?!" An Ke'an asked shocked thinking she heard it wrong.
"You didn't know? Then none of these happened in your past life?" Gia asked looking at An Ke'an skeptical. She thought perhaps something like this had happened in her past life and then through twist and turns, Mila and He Sying still ended up together.
"No.." An Ke'an said still in disbelief. Nothing like that happened in her past life. Did her rebirth caused a butterfly effect?
"An'an, you really should pay more news to the outside world. Except the war you probably have no idea what is going on in the Empire." Gia reprimanded her.
This incident happened the day before yesterday and everyone in the empire is dicussing it, yet An Ke'an had no idea of it.
"But why did the engagement get cancelled?" An Ke'an asked still a little confused.
"It was said that it wasn't Mila that saved General He that year, it was Luo Shiyi. They even brought out evidence."
"Really?"
"Yeah, everyone thought General He would propose marriage to the Luo family, but who would have expected Mrs. He would want to adopt her as a god daughter instead."
An Ke'an was a little surprised, Lily had asked her if she wanted her to be her godmother to which she agreed. Lily had told her, she also had another girl who was to be her god daughter on her husband suggestion. She had told her that they were going to have a banquet announcing their identities in a month's time. An Ke'an had not expected the person to be Luo Shiyi.
"Now, General He is currently single! Who knows how many female would go after him? It's just a pity that the war on the border had gotten more intense. Unless the war ended, will those female have a chance." Gia added feeling a little excited but her excitement died down when she said the last sentence. Her brother Max had been in a lot of pressure due to the current war.
"Hey, do you think someone else got rebirth changing the current situation?" Gia whispered after pulling An Ke'an to a corner.
"That may be true." An Ke'an said feeling the butterfly effect from her rebirth shouldn't cause such commotion.
"Then do you think that person is on our side or not?" Gia asked a little nervous.
"I don't know. If that person is on Qiao Yao's side then probably not. I will try investigating this matter." An Ke'an said frowning. This matter seem a little troublesome.
"Sigh, I hope they are really on our side. If not, it will be troublesome." Gia sighed.
"Right, have you been to our dorm?" Gia added dispersing the tension.
"Yeah, come on let go, I'll take you there." An Ke'an answered before pulling Gia.
"There's no rush. If we go there now, you wouldn't want to come out again. Sigh.. you've become more introverted ever since your rebirth. I don't know if that is a good thing." Gia said as she pulled An Ke'an to the opposite direction.
"I'm not. I'm just busy..." An Ke'an tried defending herself but Gia interrupted.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Let go and explore the school."
They both went exploring almost everywhere in the school except the places they weren't allowed to go.

Xu Jingxi has been in a bad mood recently, the fourth prince has been going after Qiao Yao recently. And his brother has been in a lot of pressure because the fourth prince was much more generous than he was. Because Qiao Yao was a pharmacist, they were some herbs she needed but due to scarcity she wasn't able to get them.
Xu Yunxi then decided to look for it for her. He pulled Xu Jingxi along and they both went into the imperial city forest. There, they encountered a lot of dangers and Xu Yunxi ended up getting severely injured.
The good thing was that they were able to get the plant, the bad thing was that he was the one being criticised because he wasn't injured at all, only getting away with a few scratches. And his resources has been reduced into half by his parent.
