Skylar went shopping with her friend Rachel and she stops at the famine products section. They pick up pads and tampons in other products in their carts. Rachel tells her about a party that will be happening on campus, "but I am done partying for the rest of the year I have been working on my exam essays" says Skylar cautious about partying and getting drunk. Rachel is a sassy green eyed, red hair, big boobed tall girl. She is friendly to people she likes and does not mince words when she encounters foes. What Skylar loves about her, is her nose straight and poise it's cute and a feminine version of HIS. In case you do not know yet Rachel is GabrieI's cousin. Exam time is here Skylar misses seating in a large area with others while they suffer together, there is solidarity in stress. There is a sense of solidarity in the knowledge that we are all facing the same hell with different weapons and we can laugh and cry in silence knowing that somewhere in the room someone feels the same way too or worse. She realised that she was late not by a lot of days she has never been regular under stress and normal days. Her body is as confused as her brain (hormones suck), but one thing is for sure she missed her period. They talked about boys, she does not mention that she had sex with Rachel's cousin. They are close, but Rachel is not her best friend, Skylar has trust issues. She has been feeling tired (exams), tender boobs (Aunt flo is on her way), sensitive to some smells (and she blamed that on the terrible food at the residence dining hall). She had a plausible excuse for all the symptoms, and this carries on for a while as she noticed her mood change. This all happens later on in the story. After Shopping, Skylar leaves for Res (doms) and spent a week stressing about whether her drunk mind remembered to use protection, did he? 'Oh my Go you idiot think harder. It has been 2 weeks you could have caught a disease, have you seen him he is hot and can get any chick and if he goes around sleeping with girls he barely know we could have something'. Her brain is frightened, so she spent the week in an internal struggle. The argument being; 'go and find out if you have something, faint in their presence and get help on the spot or stay here and suffer in silence don't find out until you are forced to take a test this means you could die early and alone'. Yes, her brain puts up a good fight against itself 'I do not think it understands that it is a bully'. So far she was almost 2 weeks late for her period, so she went to the pharmacy to buy a test and make an appointment with the university wellness centre for a check-up. 'Nausea is no joke I like to keep my food in my stomach thank you very much, can't wait to go home I miss my mum' she thought to her self as she waited in line. The man behind the counter looked at her in a judgemental way and the cross hanging around her neck did not make the situation better. She was not ashamed she had s*x this is not the middle ages life moves at a fast pace. She was happy he was gentle-ish, well the fact that he was smoking hot and not a fat slob helps, and it felt good mostly the parts she remember, most were foggy before and after but the actual act she will never forget. She got two tests and then went back to her room and took them. Waiting was a pain she knew deep down inside that she was pregnant as she looked at the mirror and instead of anticipation she just want to ask the wellness centre about options tomorrow. She made a mental list, adoption, abortion or keep it. What is a girl to do? 'My poor bo*bs and b*tt we were just working on vetting you tone now your going to compete with Pluto for planetary status. How will he take the news and my parents will kill me resurrect me'. Maybe she will be married off before she began to show, sent to school for and education returning with a whole human being 'I'm dead'.
