Mission Location, Northern Myanmar

As she stood at the entrance of the meeting room, the scrutinizing gazes directed towards her made Chen Yaoguang feel like prey being hunted.

Even though at this moment, the expressions on their faces didn't appear deliberately fierce, just a bit indifferent, the sense of oppression hidden behind their gazes still made one feel exposed.

Of course, since Chen Yaoguang could reach the position of a captain, it indicated that she wasn't someone who could be intimidated by such a scene. She only hesitated for a moment at the door, and the next moment, she followed Lu Ting into the meeting room.

At first, all members of Task Force 141 sitting in the meeting room looked at Chen Yaoguang, who was following Lu Ting, with eyes full of vigilance and scrutiny. It was simply a subconscious reaction driven by instinct.

Over the years, regardless of the environment, they had always been like this towards a completely unfamiliar person.

However, once they realized that Chen Yaoguang, who was following Lu Ting, was the collaborator for this mercenary mission, the gaze of all members of Task Force 141 immediately became more restrained.

Especially Yuri, Soap, Roach, and a few other big men. When they saw Chen Yaoguang, who was not only beautiful but also exuded an aura of elegance, their eyes were stuck on her figure as if trying to find meaning of life in it.

After all, no one would dislike seeing a beautiful woman! And someone with a typical Eastern beauty like Chen Yaoguang was even rarer for them!

So, when Chen Yaoguang followed Lu Ting to the front of the meeting room table and stood in front of them, Yuri, Soap, and Sandman's gazes seemed to stick to her body, lingering on her 'blessed' areas.

Knock knock —

Seeing this, Lu Ting immediately reached out and knocked on the table, indicating for them to tone down their obvious stares. Then, he looked at Chen Yaoguang beside him and said, "Let me give you a brief introduction. These are all my team members. On the left, there's Price, Roach, Sandman, and Ghost."

"On your right are Yuri, Soap, and Nikolai."

As Lu Ting spoke and introduced Chen Yaoguang, Yuri, Soap, and Sandman, these three guys, even more arrogantly, raised their hands to greet Chen Yaoguang proactively.

But unfortunately, Chen Yaoguang's face showed no reaction, maintaining a blank expression. She merely glanced over them with a faint gaze, showing no intention of acknowledging them.

Next, Lu Ting looked at all the members of Task Force 141 and introduced, "This is Chen Yaoguang, representing China's International Criminal Police Organization. She is also our collaborator for this mercenary mission."

Upon hearing the words "China's International Criminal Police," all members of Task Force 141 glanced at Chen Yaoguang, and their expressions momentarily changed. However, they quickly concealed this slight anomaly.

After completing a simple introduction for both sides, Lu Ting sat down directly next to Price and looked at Chen Yaoguang, gesturing, "Now, you can begin."

Chen Yaoguang wasted no time. She reached into her backpack, took out her laptop, and opened the prepared data. Flipping the screen towards Lu Ting and all members of Task Force 141, she only showed a photo of a young man from China.

Then, in fluent English, Chen Yaoguang succinctly explained, "This is Wang Tianyu, the son of our country's renowned real estate tycoon, Wang Fujun. He is also the target of our rescue mission this time."

He was controlled by a fraud organization while traveling in Thailand three days ago, and later captured and detained in a certain place in northern Myanmar.

"Northern Myanmar?"

Upon hearing the location name, Lu Ting's eyebrows raised slightly. He looked at Chen Yaoguang in front of him and confirmed, "Is that the place known as the 'money-making holy land'?"

Since Task Force 141 had just been summoned to this world and were unfamiliar with the infamous reputation of northern Myanmar, Lu Ting, however, knew it very well.

Myanmar's northern region, compared to places Lu Ting had previously visited like Dakar, was decidedly more notorious!

The central government of Myanmar has always adopted very harsh measures to control their people, leading to increasing dissatisfaction among the populace, eventually resulting in armed resistance.

Under such circumstances, it was undoubtedly a chaotic and criminal zone in northern Myanmar, where all sorts of people congregated. It was a purgatory on earth that ordinary people could never venture into but was a paradise for those who could act with impunity!

Lu Ting knew most about northern Myanmar: drugs, scams, and warlord forces were entrenched everywhere!

There were countless criminal groups in northern Myanmar engaged in illegal activities such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, organ trafficking, and even fraudulent schemes like casinos with beautiful dealers online. They committed crimes that were beyond imagination but achievable for them!

Behind the scenes controlling these criminal groups were military forces with private armed capabilities!

They primarily used these means to amass wealth worldwide, then used this money to develop and strengthen their own armed forces.

To this day, the private armed forces of some warlords in northern Myanmar, it was not an exaggeration to say, had even surpassed the military strength of some small countries in the world!

After hearing Lu Ting's words, Chen Yaoguang nodded and said, "That's right, it's there."

Speaking of northern Myanmar, Chen Yaoguang's originally emotionless eyes suddenly filled with hatred.

Due to its geographical location, northern Myanmar borders the Yunnan province of China. Over the past few years, many Chinese nationals have been deceived into going to northern Myanmar, naively believing they would find high-paying jobs there and could return home after a few years of hard work, free and carefree.

Little did they know, they were walking into hell!

Once deceived into northern Myanmar, they would lose their freedom and be forced to participate in telecom fraud. If they didn't cooperate, they would immediately suffer torture from the fraud gangs: electric shocks, beatings, and imprisonment in water dungeons!

Worst of all, some would have their organs forcibly removed while still alive, with some of them, losing their lives in the process!

Tragedies like these played out in many families, leaving people deeply saddened!

Even though the police have exposed the true face of northern Myanmar to the public, people continue to be deceived and sent there.

And this son of Wang Fujun, a highly renowned real estate tycoon in China, was targeted by a fraud organization in northern Myanmar while engaging in high-stakes gambling in Thailand!
