She began to draw attention, and everyone gathered around. Marcus ran over, squatting down to hold her. "What's wrong?" he asked, concerned. "Who did this to you?" he demanded, glaring at both Alina and Kendra.

"She pushed me down," Sasha cried bitterly, "and poured the drink on me."

"Who?" Marcus asked her. Alina's heart pounded, hoping Sasha wouldn't point at her. She pointed at Kendra instead. Alina breathed a sigh of relief.

"Me?" Kendra said, shocked. "I didn't do anything like that!" she cried. "You have to believe me."

"I can't believe you, Kendra. Stop lying. I just can't stand you," Marcus said, shaking his head in disappointment as the crowd whispered and gossiped about how mean Kendra was. Some said she was jealous of Sasha; others called her a witch and a bully.

They all pitied Sasha, who continued to tell Marcus how Kendra insulted her and pushed her down for defending Alina.
