166. Shooting For Stars Literally
Sora stopped leaning against the tree and started moving in a different direction.
'Maybe I should create a seal which will completely hide my presence entirely, I think that guy visually saw me instead of sensing, as the latter is not possible with the seals I have on my cloak'
'He probably was enhancing his eyesight tremendously with chakra which helped him notice me... He probably was a Daiymo's guard or something... still, I didn't know that Daiymo had Elite Jounins with him, he was kind of like a guard to the capital' Sora mused while increasing his flickering speed.
Sora looked at the sky and could see the sun going down.
'In one hour, sunset should be occurring... I forgot how much the time difference between Land of Stones and Land of Fire... Not like it matters' Sora stopped in front of a hill and furrowed his eyebrows behind the mask.
He weaved hand seals and spatted a water beam a few away from him at the wall of the hill.
Surprisingly, the hill's wall broke down.
'A cave? Or is it a hidden hideout of somebody or something?' Sora thought excitedly while looking at the opening.
However, being the smart kid he was, he created a shadow clone and sent him first.
'Boss always sends me to die first' Sora's clone mouthed this to Sora while making a sad expression and going into the cave like he was sending farewell to his wife and children while to death in a wall or something.
Sora sweatdropped at his clone's antics.
'What separates me from a clone? Is it the fact that a clone has a self-awareness that it's not "real" and is not the main body? Is this difference is significant enough to cause such a personality change?' Sora was really curious about this topic.
He had Shadow clone Jutsu for more than a year and it's arguably the most important jutsu that contributed to his growth.
It might not be his triumph anymore as he had more jutsus which are good in battle... Or actually argue that it's still his main triumph as he could create so many clones and all of them could execute the skills of the main body given their chakra amount.
Sora stopped his philosophical musings when he got the memories of the clone.
He made a grimace behind his mask.
Sora walked near the entrance and weaved hand seals.
In the next instant, he put his palm on the wall and the cave started closing up.
However, unlike before when the wall only made some change, this time the full cave was closed.
Sora looked at the closed hill and wondered if he should do something more.
After pondering for half a minute, he left it there and continued in a different direction.
He doesn't want somebody to trace him they actually decided to track him from the capital.
'I thought that I would get lucky and see some secret base or something, maybe some money or some jutsus or something interesting, but I guess I am unlucky' Sora shook his head and then looked at the environment around him.
His eyes widened suddenly and he suddenly stopped.
In the next instant, he disappeared from the place with smoke dispersing.
He found himself looking into the eyes of a cat.
"Uhh, you could have directly teleported me instead of reverse summoning me, also why did you come out when I summoned somebody randomly," Sora asked the cat who was none other than the proud cat Sasera.
She didn't even give him a second glance before she disappeared in a puff.
Sora had a Vein popping in his forehead.
'Should I summon her specifically to ask her this question or not?' Sora seriously thought about this.
However, he let it go and took a moral high ground in comparison to a cat.
He looked around and saw no light,t unlike his previous position.
'Damn, this is so much convenient, The fourth hokage didn't have to even send a shadow clone if he already has a seal in a place, just direct teleportation and I have heard that chakra costs are not that high, way lower than how I did now, using summoning jutsu' Sora enviously wondered about the previous blonde Hokage's ace technique.
After sighing for no particular reason for the next half minute, he decided to do something productive and start setting up a place where he would sleep.
He created 4 water clones which straight went to work in inscribing seals.
'I still have to make sure that my clone doesn't immediately teleport me like today, it would have been problematic if I was engaged in something that was with another party, it would be a pain to go back to that person if it's a very long distance' Sora shook his head while making a mental note to use shadow clones and dispelling them to act as a communicator between the main body and clones simultaneously.
Within a few minutes, Sora's clones were done and created a sealing barrier that wouldn't be normally visible from outside until a person came close.
It would also prevent anything from outside from entering the inside of the barrier, including insects or leaves or anything.
One of the earth clones started guarding the area while the other three started working on menial tasks which Sora wouldn't like the experience of, one clone was even studying medical ninjutsu and making notes which Sora would directly refer to encode that information.
The advantages of being the same person are that their thought processes are also the same and the way they would take information is similar as well.
It could make the learning efficiency of the main body increase by so much if some parts are done right.
Anyway, Sora summoned a bed and directly lay down on it.
'Should I have a heavy dinner and sleep now or should I sleep without dinner and wake up and have a heavy breakfast?' Sora thought while looking at the clear stars.
His decision-making procedure was distracted by a random thought 'I wonder how the stars look from close up'.
This made Sora pause in his thoughts.
'Is there a way to reach the moon at least if not the stars?' Sora made his dreams a bit more attainable first to see if there's a way to achieve that, so that he could go from there to reach to the stars if it's possible.
'Maybe Flying Thunder God Could do it, Let's see we need a seal for somebody to teleport, so the question is how to get an object with a seal to the moon' Sora stretched his hand towards the moon and summoned a kunai.
He weaved hand seals and his hand's shape changed.
He stretched his hands backwards and it started compressing like a spring.
From his other hand, he weaved hand seals and ceiling of the barrier disappeared.
Sora's clones being the ones supplying the chkara to the barrier naturally could see what was happening inside the barrier.
They thought in confusion before they heard a very loud sound of air breaking.
They saw kunai going at unbelievable speeds in the sky.
This was way faster than Ryota's top-speed arrows he was sending at Sora's clones.
This kunai alone could kill more than half of the Elite Jounins in existence if they were attacked from a few kilometres away and only one or two might survive if they were within 100 metres.
Nobody would survive if they got hit by this point blank.
Heck, S-ranks won't survive if they get hit by this point blank. At least most won't be in fighting conditions anymore.
Then again, they won't let Sora get close to them this much closer anyway.
Sora saw Kunai going in the sky for a few seconds before his chakra-enhanced eyesight couldn't track them.
He closed the barrier's roof and created an earth clone who was looking at him with an expression that said 'bruh' Clearly.
"What?" Sora looked at him cluelessly.
"That's my question, what is this?" Earth Clone pointed to his broken hand which was a mess.
Tendons and muscles were torn open. There were a lot of cracks in the bone with the original bone broken into several pieces.
No normal person would be able to take the pain this injury would cause, especially if it was done in a short span like what happened with Sora's hands.
Even Sora could, but he had already taken anaesthesia before, dulling his instincts.
"Anyway, you create a shadow clone after you are done and then dissolve yourself, the memories will go to me, I will take a nap then, If something unexpected happens, send me to Prank Land" With that Sora went to the dreamland by knocking himself out.
The earth clone's eyebrow twitched, but it soon started working on the arm.
It would be a good practice for his medical ninjutsu.
