Not able to restand it, with a scream of anguish the darkness closed in, suffocating him. He was trapped in a never-ending cycle of pain, with no escape from the cruel fate that had been bestowed upon him and with that, he fainted.

In the darkness, Trigon found himself floating in a vast, empty space. His body was both tangible and intangible, like a ghostly apparition. Time lost all meaning as he drifted through the void, feeling the weight of his memories bearing down on him. The loneliness was overwhelming, and he wanted to scream, but his voice was silenced by the emptiness.

Just as he thought he couldn't bear it anymore, a warm energy began to seep into his being, chasing away the darkness. It was like a gentle embrace, comforting and soothing. The dream dissipated, and Trigon's eyes fluttered open, groggily taking in his surroundings. He was in a hospital bed, surrounded by sleek, silver machines that hummed and beeped softly. The room was filled with a soft, white light that seemed to pulse with high energy.

As he weakly sat up, his head still spinning, a beautiful nurse with golden hair and a kind face moved towards him and smiled down at him. Her hands still glowed with a soft, golden light, and she touched his forehead with a gentle, soothing motion, letting the energy sip into his head, after some seconds, she redraw her hands.

"He's finally healed," she said, her voice like music as she looked at him. "How are you feeling, Trigon."

"Fine..." Trigon's utter subconsciously, his daze gaze wandered around the room, taking in the futuristic equipment and the strange, glowing orbs that floated near the ceiling. Then finally at the nurse who's golden hair cascaded down her back like a river of sunset hues, and her eyes shone like sun in a dim light world.

"Where...where am I?" Trigon stammered, his throat dry and scratchy.

The nurse smiled again, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "You're in the Neo-Eden Medical Center, Trigon, it is inside the academy. After you faint, your body temperature shoot up which scared your friends and they had to rush you over here immediately."

As she spoke, the machines around him beeped and whirred, their lights flashing in a synced rhythm. Trigon felt a strange sense of peace wash over him, as if the nurse's touch had calmed the stormy waters of his mind.

"Medical center, huh..." Trigon muttered, his voice lacking its usual energy. The memories he had temporarily forgotten came flooding back, thanks to his memory coping mechanism being forcefully triggered.

Although his emotions were suppressed by the system's skills, leaving him abnormally calm, his thoughts were in turmoil. As he replayed the memories in his head, his rational thoughts, unclouded by emotions, acknowledged that the system's actions were for his own good.

However, he couldn't shake off the lingering anger and resentment. He felt powerless against the system, recognizing that it was the very thing that had allowed him to grow strong in the first place. Yet, he remained cautious, unsure of the system's origins, motivations, and reasons for resorting to force. The mystery surrounding it all left him feeling scared, despite his suppressed emotions.

The nurse's gentle touch on his shoulder broke him out of his daze. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft and concerned.

"Fine..." Trigon stammered, his dry throat struggling to form words. "I am fine..." He cleared his throat, trying to shake off the discomfort.

Looking around, he asked, "How... Ahem... how long have I been unconscious?"

"10 hours, 23 minutes, and 45 seconds." The nurse replied, her golden eyes watching him closely, "Although you seem completely fine, I suggest you rest for the day. I'll run another medical test on you and provide some therapy. You seem depressed and sad, like a dark energy is trying to engulf you, which could lead to..."

Trigon interrupted, his voice firm, "No need to worry, I'll be fine. Can I leave now?"

"Sure..." The nurse said.

"Thank you, miss." Trigon replied as he stood up from the bed.

"It is Miss Eos." She said with a bright smile that made Trigon temporary feel all his worry being washed away.

As soon as he stepped out of the room, three faces surrounded him.

"Hey, Trig, you feel'in good?" Lexmus asked, his hand reaching out to touch Trigon's head.

"You scared the shit out of us for suddenly screaming in a darker tone. For a moment, I thought I was before a supreme being." Alfred patted his buff chest, as if the lingering effects were still present.

Meanwhile, Kael was still looking at Trigon in silence, his gaze piercing through the scarf covering his eyes. "Interesting..." He said, his hand rubbing his jaw as a wide smirk appeared on his face. "At first, I thought you were just an ordinary person who caught the interest of Lex over here, but it turns out... You are super unique."

"Dude," Lexmus stepped forward, positioning himself between Trigon and Kael, his arms folded across his chest. "He is straight and will prefer hot milfs rather than a feminine-looking dude like you."

Kael's face turned red with anger, his response swift. "Your mom prefers feminine dudes! The whole of your family prefers feminine dudes!" Lexmus's words had clearly struck a nerve.

Trigon shook his head, his eyes squinting as he asked the question that had been bothering him. "Say, why aren't you guys in class yet?"

Kael's charisma kicked in, his smile bright. "We have to stay here to wait for you, we are friends."

Lexmus reluctantly agreed, "For the first time, I agree with femi boy over there." His words earned a glare from Kael.

Trigon's intense stare lingered on his friends for ten seconds before Lexmus finally gave in. "Okay, we are escaping today's practical class. Teacher DS has gone mad, and in 30 minutes or so, he will be dropping the whole of us new students into a new world to fight and survive. The students with the highest beasts kills will get some gifts."

"Not only that, he will be making us compete with class year two!" Alfred added, his voice laced with tiredness. "How the hell are we gonna compete with the likes of Zapper and so on?" He asked, his frustration evident.

"Wait, Zapper will be there too?" Trigon finally asked, a glint flashing through his eyes.

"Yes, unfortunately, he will," Kael answered, thinking that Trigon had also lost hope of winning the mission. But Trigon's next words made their jaws drop in unison.

"Then what are we lazying for? Let's go to class!" Trigon's sudden enthusiasm and determination caught his friends off guard, leaving them staring at him in disbelief.
