I was laying with my arms open staring at the ceiling.
The light was blinding to my eyes but it sent me to a haze with peace to my mind.
Something I always need.
-I miss..-
-Not this again!-
I didn't understand this "system" thing but it sure seemed a little early for it have a bug.
And most importantly it disturbed my cozy time.
Since I woke up, this message notice kept popping up at random intervals.
That wasn't the end of it though.
I was used to spending days and days shut in my room, and while I never had issues making friends, I long preferred the sound of my own company.
This day however, after the continuos interruption, I was more swallowing myself in my misery than enjoying myself.
What had I done so wrong that I had to be shut in my own room, against my will.
If there was a god, was he punishing me somehow?
-I know I asked that to her.. and it may have been rude, but did he have to react to like that?..-
-Well It's not like that's where my problems started, but I didn't go out once since that day, so was there any reason for me to be forcefully stuck inside?-
I blocked the light hitting my eyes with my hand and stared at my fingers.
-If I squint my eyes it looks like the sun.-
I pulled my legs up, gathered strength and slammed them back down to bounce up, now sitting on my bed.
I stared at the window and questioned: what would happen if I open it now without any quest?
I approached it slowly and as I was about to satisfy my curiosity, my hand trembled.
From excitement or fear, I don't know.
I took in a deep breath and as the air filled my belly, I twisted the knob and pulled it.
Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, nothing happened.
Rather, what I saw, was still all the same.
Outside was "nothing" and as l straightened my arm further from me, I still felt "nothing".
Perhaps it'd be better to say it didn't feel any different than inside my room.
I pulled myself up and sat there, with my legs hanging.
It felt a little free.
-I wonder what would happen if I jump from here?-
However I didn't let that thought entertainment me for long and pulled out a coin from my pocket.
I stared down and let it fall hoping to hear a sound.
-It seems it wasn't just dark but there's truly "nothing". Not even a floor.-
I admired the unusual situation a little longer.
