Very Easy

After Claudia and Chloe had left, Hunter and Delilah walked out of the hospital together, the soft afternoon sunlight spilling over them as they made their way to his car.

The air between them was heavy with unspoken thoughts, and Hunter remained silent as he opened the passenger door for her.

Delilah slid into the seat with a quiet "thank you," her mind still replaying the emotional exchange that had just taken place.

Hunter got into the driver's seat, started the engine, and pulled out of the parking lot. For a while, the car was silent as Delilah stared out of the window, her gaze distant.

Thinking about all that Claudia and Chloe had said, so many things began to make sense to her, and she could understand the situation better now as an adult than she would have years ago.

Finally, Hunter broke the silence. "Are you sure about this?" he asked, his voice low and calm. "I mean forgiving Claudia and Chloe and letting them go."
