"Jessica," their father called softly before she could leave, and she stopped.
"This is all my fault. Not Delilah's. Not Claudia's. I'm responsible for it all. Be mad at me…"
"Being mad at you doesn't mean I can't be mad at Delilah or at Claudia and Chloe, too. I'm mad at all of you," Jessica cut in angrily.
"Let's talk privately in my room," Delilah said to Jessica in a firm tone, and Jessica glared at her, but followed her to her bedroom.
"I get that you're mad, but you should hear me out," Delilah said, and Jessica folded her arms in front of her.
"Go on. I'm all ears," Jessica said and Delilah sighed.
"Claudia knew Dad before Mom came into the picture," Delilah explained, since she had asked her father about how he met Claudia.
"So that makes it okay to do what she did?" Jessica asked incredulously.
