Looking towards him was none other than the Kyuubi. He was wrapped in chains and at the center of the Hokage Monument's remains. Naruto gazed at him.
"Well, well, it seems my jailer has finally decided to pay me a visit, huh?" Kyuubi snarled.
Naruto looked back impassively. "So, you're the Kyuubi no Yoko, huh? You don't have your chakra, I see. It seems the seal is working well."
"Do not mock me, human. I am still the Kyuubi no Yoko even without my power," Kyuubi growled.
Naruto's expression remained calm. "Well, Kyuubi, I'm here to make a deal with you."
Kyuubi's eyes narrowed. "What could you possibly offer me, human? I've seen your life. Your power is intriguing, and even this mindscape is full of destruction. Why are you here? I know you don't need my power. Even if I had my full power, you wouldn't need it."
Naruto chuckled. "That's right, Kyuubi. I don't need you to bound in my body. I'm here to give you what you've wanted all these years: your freedom."
Kyuubi glared suspiciously. "Don't mock me, human. Are you not here to say you'll protect Konoha from me or something like that?"
"Why would I do that?" Naruto replied, looking around at the destroyed Konoha. "Where do you think we are in Uzumaki village look around us Fool?"
Kyuubi narrowed his eyes but nodded. He already knew the kid had no love for his village. "So, what do you have to say, human?"
Naruto continued, "I can't return your chakra to you, but I can offer you something else. I am willing to free you and grant you a great amount of power in exchange for becoming my summoning animal."
Kyuubi's eyes narrowed further. "A summoning animal, huh? What power do you speak of, human? I doubt I would be stronger with this new power of yours."
Naruto smirked. "Let me show you the power of destruction." A sphere of destruction materialized in his hand. "I'm willing to grant you this power."

Kyuubi eyed the energy warily.
It gave him chills, but he sensed it was stronger than his previous chakra. "Given the current situation, I will never get my chakra back. After Menma and Naruko die, Konoha will extract the chakra and give it to a new host. They might even pull their souls, but it will never be returned to me. With this new power, I might be able to regain my strength."
Kyuubi growled but nodded. "Freedom in exchange for being a summon... Fine. As much as I hate to admit it, I have no other choice."
Naruto smirked. "I think this is the beginning of a great friendship, Kyuubi-no-yoko"
"You may call me Kurama, human,its my name" Kyuubi the tsundare fox replied.
"Well then, Kurama, you may call me Naruto." Both of them smirked at each other. Naruto clapped his hands together, and the chains shattered, releasing Kurama.
As purple energy flowed into Kurama, he felt a rush of power. His eyes glowed with the same destructive energy. Kurama initially thought he was being attacked and prepare to react , but Naruto spoke up. "Relax. This energy is highly dangerous. You need to concentrate and accept it."
Kurama growled but nodded. The energy surged through his body, causing a transformation. His fur turned dark purple, and his eyes glowed with a new power. He let out a final roar as the transformation completed, revealing his new form: the new Juubi, with a Rinnegan in the center of his forehead and ten tails swinging around his back.
For the first time since his father's death, Kurama felt respect and fear for a human. Naruto smirked. "Well, I never expected this. It seems my power has awakened your latent potential. Now, should I call you Juubi or Kurama?"
"You may call me Kurama, my Lord," Kurama replied with respect, surprising Naruto.
Naruto nodded, pleased. "It seems the Juubi has finally realized its place and acknowledged my power. As I said, you may call me Naruto. And for your freedom—"
Before Naruto could continue, Kurama interrupted. "If you permit, my Lord Naruto-sama, I would like to remain in your body for some time. In the future, I will reveal myself as the new Juubi and your summon."
Naruto thought for a moment. Releasing Kurama now would likely lead to other nations attacking him, thinking he was a new Bijuu. For now, it was better to keep Kurama close.
"Very well, Kurama. You may stay within me," Naruto agreed.
Kurama bowed his head in acknowledgment. "Thank you, my Lord."
Naruto smirked, knowing this alliance would only strengthen his position and plans for the future.
