Hellfire
Forseti chased a demon fleeing in panic, but suddenly a frost giant leaped forward, wielding an ice-blue longsword. This ice-blue longsword was transparent, like gold and jade. It was clearly not a weapon made of ordinary ice and seemed to be of high quality.
"Now, I'm your opponent," the frost giant said coldly, surrounded by a chilling aura.
Second-order god.
Feeling the immense icy power emanating from the frost giant, Forseti's heart sank slightly. Second-order gods were very powerful beings. In Asgard, there were only about a dozen, all notable figures. The situation was similar for the Frost Giants. Although Forseti did not know this frost giant, he guessed he had heard of him.
However, Forseti wanted to test the gap between himself and a second-order god. With the blessing of the king on him, he gripped his hammer and shield, the flame and holy light intensifying, and charged forward.
Hammer of Justice!
The frost giant's ice-blue longsword turned, instantly forming an ice wall that blocked him.
"Boom!"
The hammer struck the ice wall with a loud noise, causing numerous cracks but not breaking through. Even knowing the difference in power between first and second-order gods, Forseti was shocked that his Hammer of Justice didn't shatter the ice wall.
The frost giant sneered contemptuously, thrusting his longsword straight through the ice wall.
Forseti's expression changed.
Shield of Light!
The holy light on his shield shone brightly, forming a giant shield made of light and flames to block the attack.
Almost simultaneously, the ice-blue longsword hit the ice wall, shattering it into countless ice shards that shot towards the Shield of Light like bullets. The power of these ice shards was much greater than bullets, more akin to projectiles from a powerful weapon.
"Bang bang bang bang!"
The shards hit the shield with a dense sound, causing cracks to appear on the holy light.
"Bang!" The frost giant's longsword then slammed into the Shield of Light, making a loud noise. The Shield of Light was momentarily defeated, but the physical shield underneath absorbed the impact, blocking the sword.
The frost giant didn't stop; he kicked Forseti to the ground and raised his sword again.
Forseti was alarmed, quickly grasping his hammer and releasing a blinding holy light.
Blinding Light!
The second-order god's vision was affected, and he paused, blinking rapidly.
The time limit for the King's Blessing was almost over. Forseti jumped up, pushing the holy light and flames on his warhammer to their limits.
Hammer of Justice!
Frost giants' divine powers often included an ice armor that was hard to detect with the naked eye.
"Crack!"
Forseti slammed his hammer into the ice armor, breaking it and injuring the giant.
The frost giant screamed in pain, staggering back, dazed by the Hammer of Justice.
At that moment, a roar was heard, and a silver warhammer with a square head and short handle shot out – Mjölnir.
The frost giant tried to dodge but was slowed by the Hammer of Justice. He avoided a headshot but was still struck.
"Boom!"
"Ah!" The frost giant screamed, flying backward, severely injured. After struggling, he got up from the ground.
"Your Highness!" Forseti looked in surprise. It was Hela.
"I'll handle him. You continue with the demons," Hela commanded, and Mjölnir flew back to her hand.
Forseti nodded and turned to continue battling the nearby demons. Occasionally, frost giants blocked his way, but nearby Asgardian warriors noticed his effectiveness against demons and helped by engaging the frost giants, allowing Forseti to focus on the demons.
As a result, Forseti was more relentless, chasing and killing demons with fervor. Soon, the number of demons he defeated exceeded twenty, causing several demon teams to disband in fear of the Holy Light.
Forseti's slaughter of demons eventually drew the attention of a powerful demon – Zatanos, the lord of hell, who was fighting Odin.
Zatanos hovered in the air, watching Forseti below.
The holy light lit up, and a demon fell, almost defenseless.
"This power..." Zatanos's skeletal face twisted in displeasure. He had never encountered the Holy Light but sensed its deadly threat to demons. Determined to eliminate this power, Zatanos flew towards Forseti, trailing flames.
"Boy, taste the fire of my hell!" Flames burned in Zatanos's hands, radiating evil power.
Forseti was shocked. He quickly raised his Shield of Light and fled, pushing the holy light and flame power to their limits.
Zatanos raised his hand and unleashed a blast of hellfire. Hellfire seemed like ordinary flames, but Forseti felt its terrifying and evil nature.
"Boom!"
The hellfire was too fast to dodge, hitting the Shield of Light with a bang. A hell lord like Zatanos was on par with a third-order god, even stronger in hell. Outside of hell, he was weaker than Odin but still far beyond Forseti's capability.
The Shield of Light collapsed almost instantly under the hellfire's assault. Forseti could potentially counter with several Holy Light Shields, but Zatanos unleashed another hellfire blast.
Forseti abandoned any fantasies, summoning the Sanctuary.
Holy Shield!
A layer of holy light wrapped around him, making him invincible.
"Boom!" Two groups of hellfire hit him successively. At this moment, Odin broke free from his battle with Grimir. Zatanos sneered, stopped targeting Forseti, and returned to face Odin.
A fierce battle ensued in the sky, with wind and thunder shaking, rain and fire intertwining, creating crisscrossing rainbows.
