Philosophy And Perseverance

Time passed, Daniels cousin burned Johnny's car and Johnny understandably beat him up. This time his first thought wasn't to attack Daniel but to confront him like an adult. Due to the relationship of Johnny and Daniel being better their misunderstanding was solved a lot faster. Daniel agreed to get Johnny a new car and that's what he did. He gave Johnny a Dodge Hellcat and they agreed to forget about the events of the past over a few beers.

Currently I was training for the all valley turnament. I jumped up, turned sideways and tried to spin as many times as I could. I landed and I heared from behind ''You are training that move again''. I replied ''Yes sense'' and I tried again. Daniel said ''You know that move will be banned immediatelly if you use it right?''. I landed and said ''I know so I'll use it only in an emergency''. I went to a nearby punching bag, focused and did that move properly. I jumped in the air and started spinning, I used my momentum to kicked the punching bag with all my strength. The ropes were cut and the bag flew back, hitting a wall. Daniel continued ''It's to dangerous for any type of competition''. I replied ''You're right, if it's used to it's full potential it could kill somebody'' I stayed silent for a moment and then said ''I'll name it Hakai''. Daniel noded and then he gave me some points on how to better use Hakai.

We suddenly heard a voice ''Mr Larusso''. We turned around I saw Robby, he was wearing a grey top and black shorts. Daniel said ''Oh Robby, here is Jack, he has been my student for the last 10 years''. I greeted Robby and he did the same. Daniel said ''Now lets get to training'' and I said ''Wax on wax off''. He replied ''Exactly'' I said with an evil grin ''I'll go get Sam'' and I run to the house. When I got back with Sam, we saw Robby cleaning the car. We sat down and watched on as Robby got more and more angry by the moment.

I go close and looked at Daniel, he noded and I grinned. I got next to Robby who was doing the exercise for the past hour. I said ''You know why you are doing this exercise''. He angrily replied ''You want to destroy my patients, I'm not learning karate''. I said with an understanding expression ''I feel you, I had the same opinion 10 years ago but there is reason for everything''. I continued ''Stop the exercise and stand infront of me''. My commanding presence made him follow my orders. I said ''Show me wax on wax off''. He sloppily did the move and I corrected him. I repeated ''Show me wax on, wax off'' and I punced forward. To his shock he managed to deflect my punches. I said ''You have learnt karate'', he smiled and I punched his stomach making him fold in half. I said ''But you have a lot more to learn'' and Sam started laughing.I asked Daniel ''How am I doing as a sensei'', Daniel replied ''Good but the last punch wasn't necessary''. I said ''I don't know if I can fix that, it's my own style''. Daniel said ''As you may, now lets continue with our training''.

Lately I have been forgetting things from my old life. I've been writing down every detail about cobra kai but my memory is getting foggy. The only things I can clearly remember are Miguels fall, the all valleys and Sekai taikai. I thought to my self (From now on I'll have to freestyle, I'll just have to destroy my enemies and wait for the chance to join cobra kai. I never liked Miyagi-do, I have learned it because of it's usefulness and it will provide me with the chance to win the all valley). Miyagi-do is so strong because it is based on Gōjū-ryū which means hard-soft style. It's one of the main traditional Okinawa styles of karate, featuring a combination of hard and soft techniques. Gōjū-ryū incorporates both circular and linear movements into its curriculum, combining hard striking attacks such as kicks and close hand punches with softer open hand circular techniques for attacking, blocking, and controlling the opponent, including joint locks, grappling, takedowns, and throws. Miyagi believed that "the ultimate aim of karate-do was to build character, conquer human misery, and find spiritual freedom".

Those strong beliefs of Miyagi don't fit me well. I believe in absolute power. Cobra kai karate style roots mainly go back to the Korean Karate, Tang Soo Do. It also incorporates Shotokan karate, Judo, and even parts of the American military hand-to-hand. From what I understand Kreese learnt that style from veterans at the Vietnam war and then went on to teach it to Johnny and the rest of the cobra kai kids. That style was specially made for hand to hand and close quarters fights. The most important game changer for me is that you incorporate your full strength behind each attack and that's what makes it deadly. For someone with my strength Kobra kai's technique would be a lethal weapon. That's why Johnny and Robby thrived under cobra kai. I was determined and I continued my training with out slowing down a bit. Nothing would stop me, not now, not ever.
